This is the sketch from Clean and Simple:
For my card I incorporated the JUGS challenge - to make a 3D flower. I made it from a vintage dictionary and some circle punches. I also stamped the leaf on the dictionary pages. The background is created with CTMH (Damask Tile), and the ruffle is some ribbon I found at WalMart.

Laurel!! This is AWESOME!!! Love the muted colors you used, that fabulous stitching, and your flower of course! What a clever idea to use a vintage dictionary for your text paper...I think I have a few upstairs that I can do without :O) Thanks for the inspiration!

Oh my Laurel - so now I think I should have kept a couple of those old books I had laying around... the flower is divine - love that it's all made of words - Great colors - super layout - nice soft and pretty card. Beautiful! I so love the whole text paper thing...making things with it, stamping on it, using it as background paper...all of it. I love what you did with it on this card.
