Christmas in May???

As I have been saying I have been mojoless.  I think perhaps it is possibly due to a number of reasons one of which is that I am overrun by cards in my house!  Every time I tried to make a card I just couldn't since I don't 'need' any.  Well since there are some calls out for Christmas cards I decided to switch gears and try some Christmas cards.  Although it feels kind of wierd making them now, at least I am working my way through last years stash before the new yummy stuff comes out! hehehe

All of my cards today I made last night from the American Crafts Merry Mint collection.

The sketch this week from Limelight Papercrafts:

The extra challenge at Limelight and it is to include Fluff or Fuzz.  My fluff is liquid applique on the house.  I distressed the edges of the card and tree with some white ink.  The stamp is from Papertrey Ink.  I cut the house and tree with my Christmas Cheer Cricut cartridge, and the scallops are from the Plantin Schoolbook cartridge.

The sketch this week from Pals Paper Arts:

Again the stamp is from Papertrey Ink.  Punch is Marvy and the bell is my stash.
This is the card I made with some of the scraps from the last 2 cards.  The sticker is from American Crafts, the punch is Marvy and the twine is May Arts.

Terrific cards. I really like that candy cane one.

If you are being overrun with cards, try scrapbooking a bit more! LOL Ohhhh, or try crocheting! (hee, hee)

Hope your mojo returns so you have your creative outlet once again.

Very cute cards, Laurel! I admire anyone who can make a Christmas card out of season. I associate them with cold and snow and can't bring myself to make one. LOL.

Enjoy the weekend!!

Wonderful Christmas cards! I laughed out loud at your statement that you are overrun with cards!!! Well, I guess so - if I made 4 or 5 cards every day I'd be very stocked up, too!!

BUT - you are very good at cards and scrapbooking - perhaps just a shift of gears? If you're like me, there are always more scrapbooks that need me!

Hugs!
