Some Unity cards and a tag

Finally I am participating again in the Friends with Flair I haven't played in a couple of weeks.  Truth be told I had the post all ready last week but we were camping for the week and I forgot to sign up! (if you want to see my layout it is here)

The sketch this week from Get Sketchy:

I used my Lily Bee papers from my Paper Poppy kit, love this kit!  Of course the stamps are from Unity.  A simple card, but that seems to be the only thing I can do lately!  It is also for the Oh Alice Challenge to include a bird.

The Paper Crafts sketch challenge:

The inspiration from City Crafter - which inspired me to make a card and then go out of my box to create a tag.

And for my card I got to use my new Unity Store kit, love this!  This is also for The Shabby Tea Room challenge - 1 ribbon, 2 buttons and 3 die cuts (mine are circles) - as is the next project.

Now I am not a tag maker but the City Crafter inspiration really gave me that push.  This also fits the Shabby Tea Challenge - die cuts (tag, butterfly, circle - which I then cut in half).  I again used my Unity stamps.  The butterfly is cut with my Slice Just Chillin Teen cartridge.  I have to say that this was my first time using my Hands Free mat and I love it!

Don't forget to start at the beginning of the Friends with Flair participants at the Unity blog, look for the hidden blinkie - you may win some free stamps!

Wee memories

Did ya see this??? Happy dance here!

Margaritas

This is my second post for today and I am sure I won't do anymore today I know I have been doing a lot lately!  I am heading out for a run, some new car shopping and taking Jaimee to get her hair cut.

The color challenge this week from Stamping 411:

I used the sketch from the challenge over at Scrap Shotz.  We are to make a card based on the layout inspiration, I went with the sketch.  This is also for the Whimsie Doodles challenge - something sweet and the Some Odd Girl challenge - punny.  The papers are Jillibean Soup and Bo Bunny.  The images are from Whimsie Doodles.

Wish you were here

It is Twisted Thursday time over at Shirley's 2 Girls.  I used the Sweet Stop sketch:

I got to play with the new Resort Icons, which pair perfectly with the new Bo Bunny Sun Kissed papers!  I also used the sentiment from Belle Apres-Midi.  The twist this time is to use a summer accessory on your project - for me it is flip flops as I love painted toenails, and that is what the bits of bling are supposed to represent.  The flip flops are on foam squares.

Welcome baby

Another post today... I have done my run, gone car shopping and did a bit of gardening so yes I do have a life... hehehe!

This morning while everyone was still sleeping I whipped this card up for the Wild Flower Patch challenge - brown, mango and cream.  The polka dot paper is from The Cutting Cafe set Colored Mini Dots - I printed the coral dots on cream card stock.  When I saw this cute little guy from Meljen's, which was a freebie a couple of weeks ago,   I just pictured him polka dotted and the paper was perfect.  The darker pattern paper is from CTMH.

Some Argyle and PTI

Ok so I forgot I had this post all set to go too, LOL!  Lots of stuff posted today be sure to scroll down I think this is my third one!

The sketch this week from Sweet Sunday:

Remember this challenge, there are still a couple of days left.

I used some papers from My Grafico, aren't they perfect?  And I played with my new PTI sets, so fun! These also fit the Fab'N'Funky buttons and bows challenge.

I only printed the papers off in 5 X 7 pieces so I only had a few scraps left and decided to make a couple of mini cards:

Life Savers Valentine

My second template post today, be sure to scroll down for a cute teacher gift.

The challenge this week at JUGS is a template challenge.  I decided to use the new Cutting Cafe Life Savers box template along with the Valentine Circle words, also from The Cutting Cafe.  These papers are from The Digi Chick shop called Love Like Crazy.
For the inside I just wrapped some life savers in some of the plain paper that comes in the kit. You could also wrap some Love Hearts or just put some little chocolates in the box.

Template day!

The challenge this week at Just Us Girls is a template challenge and Paper Sundaes is a 'Back to School' challenge, I decided to combine the two with some Cutting Cafe templates and PTI stamps.  For the notepad I used the Line Paper Note Pad Set, along with the Jot it Down.  The apples and the word are from PTI.  The pencil box is also a Cutting Cafe template called, imagine this, The Pencil Box Template, which I again decorated with some PTI sets.  I thought this would make a cute teacher gift on the first day of school.

While making the notebook set I had an idea for making something for Danica too so I used The Cutting Cafe template called Tabbed Organizer along with some My Grafico paper (love it, no needing to hoard, just keep printing it off).  To make the tab pages more sturdy I recycled some cereal boxes and covered them with paper, which make this project and the next one fit the Fab 'N' Funky challenge

Then I decided to make her a little box to hold some of her goodies so I found this box laying around.

Covered the top with some more paper and voila!

Here is the set together - Danica said 'cool' and now has them displayed in her room.

Sparkle Creations challenge #3

My second post for today, please scroll down to see how much fun I had with fabric!

Time for another Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps challenge and this time we have a yummy inspiration picture, I went with the colors.

The sketch this week from Unscripted Sketches:

For my card I used the sweet Lantern Rin, which makes this fit the Papertake Weekly challenge - cute, along with some Amy Butler paper.  This also fits the Stamp Something challenge - flowery and the Wee Memories challenge - Stamping.
