First up I used this sketch from Pencil Lines:
I just took these photos the other day on a rare snowy day in November, very unusual for us at this time of year. As you can see Danica took full advantage of it! This is also my challenge for the month of December - to use twine on your project - for me more of a challenge to not use it! (giggle). This layout and the next one will be for the Sketches in Thyme challenge as well. Everything today also fits the Paper Cutz challenge - anything; the I did it Creations challenge; The Design Dollies challenge - layers;
This was the sketch we were given to work with this month:
I scrapped pictures I took last year of the gift that Danica made (without me knowing) and gave me for Christmas.... I love it. This is for the JUGS challenge as is my bag; the Mark's Finest Papers - bows;
The sketch this week from Sketchy Thursdays:
And I took this picture of the girls last Christmas, sure works with this paper!
I used this weeks Sweet Stop sketch:
I made myself a Holiday Planner. I am a list maker and planning for the holidays is no exception this way I have a nice notebook to keep track of my stuff rather than just loose pieces of paper! This is for the Creative Inspirations Challenge - Christmas Gifts; the ABC Challenge - Ice and Snow.
The inside:
This card is for the Tuesday Throwdown challenge - Embellish it. I added silver glitter to the large snowflake and sequins and gems to the small ones.
And my card using the Skipping Stones sketch:
In the kit are some yummy chipboard snowflakes. I painted one and covered it with some Martha Stewart micro beads. I made a simple package to give to my Educational Assistant - will fill with some homemade hot chocolate. My Aide is a male so I kept the package simple. Again for the JUGS challenge.
A close up of the snowflake.
