Scrap Shotz Reveal

Today is another Scrap Shotz Reveal and this months kit is the Fabulous Echo Park Wintertime Kit along with some Fancy Pants and Bo Bunny Goodness - Wow!  LOVED working with the kit this month!  All the Twine on the projects are from the Twinery.

First up I used this sketch from Pencil Lines:

I just took these photos the other day on a rare snowy day in November, very unusual for us at this time of year.  As you can see Danica took full advantage of it!  This is also my challenge for the month of December - to use twine on your project - for me more of a challenge to not use it! (giggle).  This layout and the next one will be for the Sketches in Thyme challenge as well.  Everything today also fits the Paper Cutz challenge - anything; the I did it Creations challenge;  The Design Dollies challenge - layers;

This was the sketch we were given to work with this month:

I scrapped pictures I took last year of the gift that Danica made (without me knowing) and gave me for Christmas.... I love it.  This is for the JUGS challenge as is my bag; the Mark's Finest Papers - bows;

The sketch this week from Sketchy Thursdays:

 And I took this picture of the girls last Christmas, sure works with this paper!

 I used this weeks Sweet Stop sketch:
 I made myself a Holiday Planner.  I am a list maker and planning for the holidays is no exception this way I have a nice notebook to keep track of my stuff rather than just loose pieces of paper!  This is for the Creative Inspirations Challenge - Christmas Gifts; the ABC Challenge - Ice and Snow.

 The inside:

This card is for the Tuesday Throwdown challenge - Embellish it.  I added silver glitter to the large snowflake and sequins and gems to the small ones.

And my card using the Skipping Stones sketch:

In the kit are some yummy chipboard snowflakes.  I painted one and covered it with some Martha Stewart micro beads.  I made a simple package to give to my Educational Assistant - will fill with some homemade hot chocolate.  My Aide is a male so I kept the package simple.  Again for the JUGS challenge.

A close up of the snowflake.

Busting....

Oh my I am so excited, I am so wanting to share some exciting news but just not sure I can yet.  I have been holding it for a few weeks already so hopefully soon! (no I'm not pregnant!)

Joy tags

This is my THIRD post for today (can you tell I had a busy weekend? - much more to come tomorrow too!) - be sure to scroll down.

It is my day over at the Scrap-Mart blog, be sure to head over there to see how I made these.

The sentiment and frame are PTI, other than that you have to check out the Scrap - Mart blog.  I made these little gift tags for the Keep it Simple challenge - Joy; the Shoe challenge; white with a splash of color; the Loonie Stampers - tags; Our Creative Corner - tags

Just curious, which one do you like better?  I like the one with 2 bells myself.

Now don't forget Scrap-Mart has a blog hop coming up, you don't want to miss it.

Grade Ten

This week the challenge at Scrap Tiffany is a layout challenge.

For my layout I used the fun Jillibean Soup Atomic Soup papers and Sprouts.  They fit Jaimee perfectly as she is aspiring to be a CSI agent, loves science, math and technology (facebook, her blackberry,etc).  I cut the microscope out with my Paper Dolls Every Day Dress Up cricut cartridge.

Get Well

To all of my American friends, Happy Thanksgiving!

Twisted Thursday time again, and this time the twist is What are You Thankful for?
Other than having a great family, I am thankful for having a great support of friends at my workplace.  I made this little package for a friend who has been feeling worn down with a cold, so I put in a couple of packages of Chicken Noodle soup, a spoon and a movie rental certificate, (maybe now she'll take a day or 2 off and rest)
