Whew, kind of tired here today. I did a 19K run and I pushed myself a lot as my knees were bothering me the whole time. They don't usually on a run but with the half marathon coming up in a few weeks I really want to make sure I can run it before hand! Glad I did it. Even more glad that I did some scrapping ;)
I really like this sketch from Get Picky:
I used my Elementary Papers from Studio Calico, some Unity stamps, Divine Twine, flashcards from Pretty Little Studio and journal tag from Shabby Chic Crafts.
Wow, 19K? That's a lot. Good luck with your preparations.
ReplyDeleteYour layout is super fun. Love the patterned paper.
Good for you with the running! Wow!
ReplyDeleteLove the layout!!
Holy cow - 19K? Even as I'm losing weight, I don't have an inclination to want to run. I like my walks, but oh, I just don't think I could be a runner. So good for you!! Now on to the layout - cute! Love the envelopes on the side!
ReplyDeleteOHHH! I love your papers and the way you used those envelopes! FUN!!! Great LO!
ReplyDeleteWow, congratulations on the 19k, Laurel! I don't think I could run 19 feet, personally. :) And what a great layout. Love the paper you used for a school theme, and love all the little detail. The two kraft mini bags are adorable, and I love the back 2 school piece at the top with the stars and wrapped twine.
ReplyDeleteOkay, gotta say OUCH about the knees and Whoa on the 19k. You are an inspiration to me with all this running you do! I agree with a previous comment...I'm lucky if I could run 19 feet. LOL
ReplyDeleteI adore this layout, great job! If anyone could get me back to doing paper scrapping (or scrapping of any kind these days) I think it would be you.
Your daughter is beautiful and you showcased her wonderfully. Well done!
Have a great start to your week.
