Vacation Travel Journal

Today I have combined a couple of my DT assignments into one cute little travel journal.  The challenge at Lessology is Flight of Fancy or to do something related to flight and of course to upcycle something.

I upcycled an old map by stamping on it with a Unity stamp and then used it as an embellishment for the front of the journal.  The papers and stickers are all from Momenta, and I have listed the details over on the Momenta blog, please hop on over to take a peek!

I used a little Maya Road chipboard album to make a travel journal.  Just a little place to jot down quick, short notes on the day's adventures, making scrapping the photos a bit easier.

A couple photos of some of the inside pages.  Once again some Unity stamps.  The journal spots are adhered only on 3 sides making them little pockets to tuck in receipts and tickets.

Now I just have to head out on a trip somewhere!

What a great little journal. I like the rustic feel, which to me reminds me of a battered old suitcase of a veteran traveler. Great job!
