I did another bit of upcycling. I had this wooden notepad holder kicking around. I got it at a garage sale. I forgot to take a before picture but it was basically just bare wood. I painted and distressed it then added some Nikki Sivils Messages paper and die cuts. No matter how often I put out a pad or sticky note pad of paper by the phone, it always disappears... this one shouldn't! After covering the piece, I then used my Hello2You stamp set from The Stamps of Life for the sentiment and of course a bit of Cappuccino twine from The Twinery.
