First up is this card that I had published in the Cricut magazine using some Odds & Ends by Cosmo Cricket, love this line, and a Unity stamp.

Put on your Party Dress
I have not been in my craft room as much as I would like to be,hmpf... However, we are just beginning to redo our kitchen (knocking out a wall, filling in a door then all new appliances and cupboards!) Can't wait for it to be done... which of course if a few weeks away but in the meantime it has meant a lot of out of town shopping - appliances, cupboards etc. So when out of town on the weekend I don't get much playtime in my craft room. I had quite a few things posted in some September magazines so over the next couple of days I will be posting those at least.

Celebrate Dude
I haven't had much time to play in my craft room and when I have had the time, I have just been too tired to do so. I went down there for a bit today to see what I could do. CAS was on the menu.
I used some Doodlebug papers and stickers along with a few Paper Smooches stamp sets.

Sending Warm Fuzzies
I played around with the Get Well Soon collection by Nikki Sivils. I thought it paired up nicely with the Gotta Bug set by The Alley Way Stamps. Don't you love his little antennae?

Thanksgiving 2011
Happy First day of fall. I for one and quite happy with the cooler weather. I love it when I can start wearing some cozy warm hoodies and sweaters. Anyhow I have a fall themed project for you today.
I finally scrapped last year's Thanksgiving photos. I picked up the new Bella Blvd Thankful and the papers were perfect for the photos.
I used this old sketch from the Bella Blvd Blog, I love how many photos I was able to incorporate.

Holiday Cards & More Publication
I am so excited to say that I had a card picked up for the Paper Crafts Holiday Cards & More magazine. For this one I used some Echo Park along with the fun May Arts V Striped Twill and of course some Twine. I think this snowman is just so cute. Now I am eagerly awaiting my issue to arrive.
If you want to order one of these fabulous magazines, you can do so here.

Hello Friend
I really must get more into the fall mode but we are having such warm sunny weather here it is hard to (truth be told... I am done with heat and ready for fall). I just had to post one last (???) or not, sunshiney project. This one uses some Echo Park Sweet Day, available at Jessica Sprague. I then tied it off with some Divine Twine.
Chillaxin'
I have really been into sunbursts lately and I did another one with my Bella Blvd Sunshine and Happiness collection. I love this photo of Danica just relaxing in the pool at our Family Reunion. I used my Cricut to cut the large circle so this fits the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge - end of summer.

Hip, Hip, Hooray Birthday
I am up on the Pebbles Blog today for Whip it Up Wednesday. The projects have to be created in half hour or less. I had picked out my products but then had to take my daughter to dance. I had a half hour at home before I had to go get her again so I went to work and I created 2 cards from the Hip, Hip, Hooray collection. I made these for some of the little kiddos in my classroom. I cut the sentiment with my Cricut Birthday Bash cartridge.

Fall is in the Air
Welcome back for another Ribbon Carousel Challenge!
This week our favorite Aussie Crewmate Danielle Daws is challenging us to create a project using fall colors. Yep. Summer is coming to and end so lets get ready for the Fall!
This week our favorite Aussie Crewmate Danielle Daws is challenging us to create a project using fall colors. Yep. Summer is coming to and end so lets get ready for the Fall!
For my card I used the Country Pumpkin Chowder from Jillibean Soup along with some May Arts Woven Ribbon and Jute Twine. I used my Silhoutte to cut the leaf and the sentiment.
I used this week's sketch from 2Peas:
Your creation can be anything from cards, quilts, sewn items, paper crafts, paintings! *** Be sure to have ribbon, bakers twine, jute twine, lace, thread (basically anything that comes on a spool). ***
We'd love for you to join us this week! Here are the details:
- Make your NEW creation following the ribbon carousel challenge of the week. Any submissions made prior to the challenge date will be deleted. Be sure to include some type of ribbon, twine, hemp, lace....basically, anything that comes on a spool.
- Load your creation up onto your blog or a public viewing forum like Splitcoast Stampers, (use the keyword RCC71) with a direct link back to THIS post. Including the challenge graphic isn't a requirement, but sure is appreciated! (A participant of our very first challenge didn't link back or mention our challenge and couldn't be named Top Spool, so don't let that happen to you!)
- Link up your creation using the Inlinkz button at the bottom of this post. Your image may take a little while to pop up, but don't worry, it will appear shortly.
- Come back the Friday after the challenge ends to see if YOU are a Top Spool!

100% Athlete
While I had the Bella Blvd Making the Team paper out I created this layout about my daughter's wrestling - I was very surprised when my 'girly girl' came to me and said she joined wrestling. She joined at the end of the year with only about 2 months left but did well.. she got rookie of the year! This year she has decided to go into dance and yes wrestling too - guess she will be well rounded. This is for the Scrap the Girls challenge - sports or action.
Sorry
I finally broke into my package of Get Well Soon by Nikki Sivils. I love all the cute little get well icons in this package. I decided to make an "I'm sorry" card that could be used when someone is sick but also if you want to send an apology.
I was inspired by this week's Retro Sketch:
First Half Marathon
I played along with the Stuck On Us Sketches Die cut challenge - sports. I used some Bella Blvd and the tone on tone stars were cut with my Cricut. This is also for the Scrap the Girls challenge - sports or action.
