I am here for you

The past few days our family has been through some very trying emotional times.  I have had very little sleep, to eat and absolutely no mojo.  Today I decided to try and get back on track but I knew I did not have the energy to do my Project Life pages for the week so I decided to attempt a card.  I used my Beautiful Life Collection by Echo Park, some SRM Stickers (Wishing You Well), some May Arts ribbon and twine and my Cricut to create a card to have ready if anyone else is ever in need of a 'hug'.

CHA Must Haves

Well with CHA over I am sure you, like me, can't wait to get some of the new stuff in your hands to play with.  I have a lot of ones that I want but my must haves that will be the first in my 'cart' are these ones:

Front Porch by Pebbles

Cut & Past Flair by My Mind's Eye

Cut & Paste Adorbs by My Mind's Eye

Happy Haunting by My Mind's Eye

Teresa Collins Santa's List

T'is the Season by Echo Park

Reflections - Fall by Echo Park

Penelope by Elle's Studio

My Craft Spot Guest

I was very honored to have been asked by Kimberly to be a guest with My Craft Spot.  I was able to work with the cute little set Stamp Around Fall Set.  So many ways to use this one.  I love to give little goodie boxes to my kids for starting school and on Halloween so this set is perfect for creating the perfect little tag to finish off the projects.

First off, I created a teacher card as a teacher myself I know how nice it is to get a little thank you card.  I used the new Echo Park Paper & Glue Collection, the button is from Craftpon and the Stamp Around Fall Set finished off the tag nicely.

Next up, I used the Tricks & Treats collection by Pebbles to create these little goodie tins for my girls at Halloween (they are 15 and 18 so I will probably tuck in some $$ with the candy).  The Stamp Around Fall Set was perfect for creating little labels for the tins.

Here is the stamp set that I used for my projects:

Be sure to head on over to My Craft Spot to see all the other cute stamps and dies that they have, lots of good stuff!  Thank you for having me as a guest!

Oh and I am able to offer a stamp set of your choice as a prize.  All as you have to do is leave a comment here on my blog - easy peesy!  Unfortunately the contest is only open to US and Canadian residents.

It is Sketchy Thursday time over at Elle's Studio and as always I love the sketch!  I used the Saltwater collection along (to see which pieces, head on over to the Elle's Studio Blog).  The sketch was perfect for these photos I took when we were camping last week.  I have also used some My Favorite Things Dies and a Unity Stamp (Epic Moments)

Here is the sketch, now be sure to head on over to Elle's Studio to play along!

Live in the Moment

I am taking full advantage of our laid back summer.  I have been puttering around the house getting some home decor stuff done and in between, have been doing lots of scrapping and I love it!  For this layout I have used the Here & Now Collection by Echo Park along with some My Favorite Things dies and a few Unity SMAK stamps (Epic Moments, Cre-ate, Life Starring You, Me Documented, Celebrate the Good Times).  For this one, I stamped the filmstrip stamps on vellum and then cut them out.  Another trick I did was with the word 'remember' in the title.  That stamp had other words on it.  I placed some tape over the extra words, inked the stamp then took off the tape prior to stamping.  Part of the title was cut with my Silhouette as well.  The twine is Divine Twine and the clothespin is from Pebbles.

Inspired By #84

You have until Wednesday night to play along with my current Inspired By Challenge.

For my project, I was inspired by all of the colors, which made me think of this plaid paper in the Lakeside Collection by Pebbles.  I also wanted to include some tags as usually suitcases have a tag or two tied to them.  Everything here is from the Lakeside Collection except the clothespin, but it is still from Pebbles.

Roots & Wings

I created a layout for the Canadian Scrapbooker July sketch challenge.  I used the Kate & Co Oxford collection by My Mind's Eye along with my Unity Stamps (Roots & Wings, Cre-Ate, Layers of Life) and a die cut with my Silhouette.  Funny thing is, I had all intentions of having the yellow as the background and the white the smaller panel... didn't even notice I hadn't done it until I was uploading here on my blog! LOL! Oh well.

Here is the sketch, I did alter it a little bit.

Make the Time

I am mostly caught up with DT projects so I played just for fun.  I dug out my Tell Your Story collection by Teresa Collins.  I also inked up a Donna Downey stamp by Unity that I have had for awhile and never inked up.  I stamped on the background paper, then covered it with vellum and paper pieced part of the flower and stamped the sentiment. I then added a few sequins from Simon Says, some gold washi from Cute Tape and some Teresa Collins twine.  A CAS card just because.
