Mixing Stamps and Dies

I haven't been in my craft room for a couple of days, lots of sitting and chatting with my youngest daughter and it has been nice.

I decided to play with the Spicy Social Soup collection by Jillibean Soup along with some dies and stamps from Technique Tuesday.  The wooden icon is from Creative Embellishments.

Inspired By #104

You have until tomorrow night to play along with my Inspiration Challenge.

I went with the cool colors and a winter theme.  I also picked out the plates on the wall with my die cut circle panel and the stitching behind the panel picks up on the quilt.  I used my Stationary Noted (well scraps of... not much left) by Teresa Collins along with some Silhouette cuts and the new White Divine Twine.

Rooster Weathervane Stamp of the Week

Happy Sunday.  What a gorgeous weekend here.  My hubby and I had a great lunch date yesterday on the West Coast.

Being that it is Sunday it is time for a new Unity Stamp of the Week and this week it is the Rooster Weathervane.  I paired it up with my Irish Farmhouse Soup collection by Jillibean Soup and my Chicken Wire Die by MFT.  I thought this would make a great tag for a Food Gift Basket, perhaps a Chicken Noodle Soup Feel Better kind of gift.

Clear stickers add little details to a layout.

I am up on the SRM Stickers Blog today with a layout.  I created this with the Lakeside collection by Pebbles and a few different SRM Stickers.  I am not doing Project Life this year but I do love the look of them so you will be seeing some PL inspired layouts such as this one.

I also have a couple of Frecked Fawn clips

I share a couple of tips on using your stickers and a way to make them go further... check out the SRM Blog for some ideas and the list of stickers that I have used.

Featured on the Teresa Collins Blog!

If you are here for the Unity Hop please go here.   I just had to share that I am so excited to have a card featured on the Teresa Collins Blog!  Thank you Teresa, you know I love your stuff!

Unity Blog Hop

Welcome to the Unity Blog Hop.  We are very sad to say goodbye to Thienly who has decided to step down to take more time for her family and other interests.  She will be missed as she is amazing!

I have saved this little Maya Road tin (held some chipboard accents) forever, just waiting for the right project.  Well here we are.  My daughter and I are heading to Europe for Spring Break and both of us like to keep little mementos (ticket stubs, etc) of things so one of use will be able to use this little tin for just that.  I have used some old Teresa Collins paper along with the Vintage Passport and Tiny Number Tags stamps - (just being released as singles this week)!  You know how much I love my SMAK kits, but how wonderful to be able to get some of the stamps singly!  Even better these NEW RELEASES ARE AT GARAGE SALE PRICES!  The twine is from Divine Twine.

Inspired By #103

You have until tomorrow night to play along with my Inspired By challenge

Being a tea lover I had to go with a tea theme.  A coworker had her birthday and she is a fellow tea lover.  Leaf Tea is hard to come by in our town - we have to get them from out of town.  So I left this little giftie for her.  Inside the 'tea box' (which is a Silhouette cut) are a couple of sample sizes of leaf tea.  I used the Christmas Cheer collection by Lily Bee along with some PTI dies and stamps and some twine to tie it all off.  She did like her little gift.

The Best Things in Life Aren't Things

I had a lot of fun scrapping these photos.  My youngest daughter has always liked shopping with my mom.  They have always gone off together while I go do my thing because "Grandma likes the same stores as me" my daughter said when she was little.  Apparently grandma liked to go in Claire's as much as my daughter ;) hehehe.  My mom is such a wonderful grandma!  I also love that at almost 16 my daughter would rather ask grandma to come shopping with us instead of her friends!  How special is that.  So happy to have this documented - it is what scrapbooking is all about for me.

Anyhow I used the Yes Please collection by American Crafts along with a title cut from my Silhouette and a bunch of Unity SMAK kits (check out the Unity Blog to see which ones, I think I used 6 different kits!)

Adventure starts at 50

I am up on the Jillibean Soup Blog today with this fun card made with the new Sightseeing Stew collection.  I thought it would be fun to use it to create a birthday card.  I added some Alphabeans for the number 50 - I am hoping the adventure starts at 50 as I am not that far away ;)  hehehe.  I used a couple of My Favorite Things dies and some Freckled Fawn clips.

Be sure to stop by the Jillibean Soup Blog to see what the other designers have created for you!

Altered Peanut Jar for Valentines

I am just sharing another little giftie for my hubby and I have to say this is true in more ways than one ;)  I used the Fresh Vegetable Soup along with Soup Staples by Jillibean Soup, the new Bean Board alphas, the You Are Loved SMAK by Unity (did you know that all the SMAKs, KOMs and LOL kits are on sale - HALF PRICE!!!) some Silhouette cuts and the new white Divine Twine.

#loveus

I am having fun making Valentine themed projects.  Today I have another card to share.  For this one I used the new Heart Healthy Red Bean Soup collection by Jillibean Soup (including a die cut and a flash card from the collection) along with a Technique Tuesday stamp (Cloud 9) and a Silhouette cut.  I am loving all things hashtag lately...

Die cuts, stamps and sequins on a card

Although I did use the Follow Your Own KOM from Unity on this card, if you are looking for the Blog Hop please go here

I used my Summer Stories collection (only bits and pieces of it left now) by Teresa Collins along with my Silhouette and lately my much loved Star die from MFT.  As said above, the stamp is from the Follow Your Own KOM by Unity (all of the KOM, SMAKs and LOL are on sale don't miss out!).

When I saw this inspiration I had to play along, LOVE the colors!  I even pulled in the bit of dark (almost black of the stem) with my sequins.

Unity Blog Hop

Welcome to the Unity Blog Hop.  Have you been hopping along at all of the blog - by leaving comments on all of the blogs you have a chance to win a

***a prize pack of a sample of our fabulous stamps!!!***

For my project I used the Yours Truly collection by Pebbles along with a few different SMAK kits and one KOM.  I love mixing the SMAKs, they are so fun.  First I spray painted a wooden clothespin with chalkboard paint then just went to work.

I used  the following stamp sets: You can Do Anything, You are Loved, Life Starring You and So Into You.  The main heart was cut with my Cricut.

Love the coffee stain stamp and the 'do you like me?' set, how fun.  I also love the Pebbles arrow rub on.

My favorite SMAK kit lately... loving that large arrow.
Have you signed up for the SMAK membership yet?  You won't be disappointed, they are always the perfect finishing touch for any project.

I am playing along with the Curtain Call challenge.
