Final Goodbye at SRM Stickers

As I said earlier, my term with SRM Stickers is up.  Today on the SRM Stickers Blog, Susan is sharing some of the DT projects that have been created throughout this year.  I thought I would share some of my own favorites.

And of course, these which are kind of timely for all of my friends in the US.

Summer Themed Cards

I am up on the My Mind's Eye Blog today and my assignment was summer cards.  I decided to see what I could come up with using the new Necessities collections.  I decided some shaped cards would work well with the stripes and polka dots of the Blues paper.  I made both of them into gift card/money holders.

First up a masculine one - the gift card or money can tuck into the waistband.  I also dug into my Unity SMAK kit stamps to add some fun layered pieces.

On this one I used some Summer themed SRM Stickers as well as a wooden Maya Road tag.

Finally, after cutting out a polka dot bathing suit, I paired it up with some of the Market Street collection for a fun encouragement card.

Something Wonderful

I had a few spare moments yesterday to play just for fun.  I used the Something Wonderful collection by Teresa Collins along with some Divine Twine and a Silhouette cut.  I love the soft pretty colors in this collection.

I used one of the tags and journal spots from the collection and clipped them together with some sentiment panels that I cut from one of the pattern papers.

I was inspired by the sketch this week from Sweet Sunday

Welcome Sweet Baby

I thought I would post the card I created for my Inspired By Challenge last week.

I was pretty literal with this one.  I used the Special Delivery Boy with woodgrain paper from the Lakeside collection both by Pebbles.  I cut the moon and large star with my Silhouette.  The stamp is from Technique Tuesday.

A little Me-ology

The Fancy Pants Design Team are hopping along with Taylored Expressions this week!  Be sure to check out the Fancy Pants Blog everyday for lots of great inspiration!

I was up yesterday using the fun Me-ology collection.  LOVE this collection!  I can't wait to create even more projects with it!

First up is a card that I created.  I am always in need of flat, mailable Thank You cards so using the Many Minis set was perfect.  I just layered the paper, one of the tags and a couple of ticket stubs from the collection.  I fussy cut the lady from some of the pattern paper. I like the addition of a little circle sentiment.  This was a quick and easy card to create.

Next up, I have created a Wine Bottle Tag.  This would be perfect for so many occasions!  Once again, the lady was fussy cut from the pattern paper.  I then punched and layered some circles onto the Wine Bottle Tag.  The sentiment from the Witty Wine Quotes fits with the lady very well! I then just clipped on one of the mini tags and tickets from the Me-ology collection to finish it all off.

There are some fabulous prizes up for grabs so be sure to check out the Fancy Pants Blog everyday for how you can win!

Red, White and Blue

Yes I do know that I am Canadian ;)  However, the Americana collection by Pebbles was part of our DT package so hey, gotta use it right?!  I actually made these for a CARDS call back in February but they were not picked up so I am sharing them with you today.  I used the Americana collection along with some MFT dies, Divine Twine and some SRM Stickers.  Lots of layers and bits... just how I like them!

For this card I just created a little pocket out of a piece of vellum and then filled with sequins.

You have until tonight to play along with my Inspired By Challenge

I pulled out the colors and mixed different patterns by using the You Are My Happy collection by Teresa Collins.  I thought they were perfect for the inspiration.  I used a butterfly die from MFT as well.
