The next thing she did was search on the internet for a picture to use. She printed it out on plain photocopy paper.
After cutting out the images she wanted to use, she ran them through the Xyron 900 right side up to make it into a sticker, trimmed before removing the backing then ran them though upside down so that the top was sticky as well.
She then went to work adhering sequins, beads and other embellisments to cover the images.
As a final touch, she then used the Adhesive Dots to adhere the May Arts ribbon in spots, bending and twisting to create a seaweed bed. I just love the ribbon she chose, it worked so well! She covered the sides of the block with some Washi Tape.
I am so impressed by her project and so proud of her.

Oh my goodness, this is fantastic! What a wonderful project. I adore what she created. Love all the different colors of sequins she added (what patience) and that ribbon seaweed is amazing. Well, the whole project is amazing. Your daughter is as talented as her mom! (and I have to admit to feeling a smidge better about my desk and how cluttered it gets...I'm not the only one who has about 6 square inches to work)! Thanks so much for sharing. Wonderful project!!
Wow wow wow! She ROCKED this!!! I loveeeeeeeee it!!!!!!!!
OMGoodness, now that is seriously creative! What fun! Really loving how she used the sequins, and her choice of trims is really perfect. So does look like seaweed! Looks like your DD inherited some of your amazing artistic abilities!
Definite proud momma moment...what a gorgeous project...way to rock the sequins!
