Another Year Older Birthday Card

Well this is my last Pebbles project as a Pebbles Design Team member.  I have love being on the Pebbles Design Team for the past 2 years, love the products and the people!  I did not reapply for the next term.  I wish the new team well and can't wait to see what they do!

I need to build my stash of birthday cards for the kiddos in my class so I dug into the Birthday Wishes collection and just played.  It was fun after a couple of days off.

I honestly did try to keep it simple... I really did, but somehow layers and doo dads always jump onto  my cards!  I was playing along with this weeks Fusion Challenge.

Vintage Bliss cards

I played with some of the older Simple Stories Vintage Bliss papers.  Some collections just make me feel good when I use them and this is one of them.  So soft and pretty.  Once again my much loved Chicken Wire die from MFT and some Silhouette cuts.

Pocket full of Posies Hello

I played with some more Date Night by Chickaniddy along with a MFT die and a Silhouette cut file.  A super easy card that went together quickly.

I used fussy cut flowers along with some of the stickers from the collection to tuck into the pocket.

Flea Market Hello

So much for postal friendly ;)  I used the Flea Market collection by Crate Paper to create this card.  Can't get enough of this collection!

I used my Silhouette to cut the panel and the sentiment.

Smile for some Splendid Sunshine

Lots on the agenda today but first I snuck in some play time.  Finally broke into my Splendid Sunshine collection by Echo Park and put together this quick and easy card.  Again, another that is postal friendly!

Angie Girls Release and a Unity Blog Hop

Time for another Unity Blog Hop.  This week we have some fun new releases by Unity... more Angie Girls!  I love the Angie Girls, so fun to paper piece!

First up I used the new Miranda girl with the As You Wish Collection by Fancy Pants.  I created a gift card holder... who wouldn't love a gift card to a liquor store?!

Next up, how fun is Esmeralda?!  I love that sentiment!  I created a shaped card using my Silhouette and then paper pieced Esmeralda with the Thirty One collection by Pebbles, love her outfit!

Because I need mailable cards...

I played around just for fun again.  I love the Mixed Company collection by Heidi Swapp.  LOVE the blue roses!  I also used my MFT Chicken Wire die and a Kerri Bradford cut file.  Finally finished it off with a sprinkling of some MME Enamel dots.  Another effort to create a flatter, more mailable card!

Although I swayed a bit (well, quite a bit) from the sketch, I was inspired by this sketch at Freshly Made Sketches:

Homemade with Love Recipe Page

A friend of mine is going to a shower on the weekend.  Each guest has been asked to bring an 8 X 8 recipe page.  She asked me if I would make it for her.  I knew which papers I was going to use as the Homemade with Love by Carta Bella has been calling for awhile now! ;)  I made a pocket and the top recipe card is just attached with the clothespin.  That way my friend can write her recipe on it and it is removable.  I used a few Unity Stamps for some accents, love the coffee stain.

Beautiful You

I played along with a couple of challenges today using the Save the Date collection by Teresa Collins, my Silhouette and some PTI dies.

It has been a difficult year to say the least, but I do think that things are turning around... which means the crafting mojo is slowly coming back!  Yay!

I played along with the Fusion challenge, using the sketch, colors and flowers.

Also the Curtain Call challenge, the colors and the shelves were my inspiration.

Every Picture Tells a Little Story

I am up on the My Mind's Eye Blog today with this Market Street Layout.  I love the touches of gold in the collection.  For more detail on the story behind the photo, please hop on over to the MME Blog!

The title is from Jillibean Soup.

SMAK/LOL Saturday on Unity Blog

I went out of my box today and used my Gelatos again... not sure if I will become addicted, I still love my pattern paper ;)  My project is up on the Unity Blog so hop on over there to see how I upcycled a garage sale wooden plaque as I have more details and close ups over there.

Styleboard Smile

Playing just for fun today.  I used my Styleboard collection by Crate Paper, it is so pretty, along with some PTI stamps and of course a Silhouette cut and some Divine Twine.

I was inspired by this week's sketch at Freshly Made Sketches.

A little Me-ology

I was up on the Fancy Pants Blog the other day with my interpretation of this month's sketch challenge.  I hope that you play along!

I used the me-ology collection, LOVE this one (I even have it on my wish list for more!).  I just went to work layering all the fun bits and bobs in the collection.  I love all of the different items, buttons, chipboard, tags, envelopes....

I then stamped some of the Unity sentiments from the Me Documented SMAK kit from Unity and added a Silhouette cut file to the title.

I am all over clothes pins these days! ;)
