Note This...

When I saw the color challenge for The Card Concept I knew right away which paper I wanted to use!

I used this pretty paper Life Emporium from Teresa Collins along with my Silhouette

Final Inspiration Elevator Hop

After some thought and consideration, the time has come to retire Inspiration Elevator. But before we go, we need to hold a big retirement party, so we've invited everyone who's been involved with Inspiration Elevator back for one last reveal, and to our delight most were able to accept! We are so delighted to have so many IE alumni along this month! Thank you to each of you for helping us end our elevator ride with so much fun and creative energy!

This month's challenge is posed by one of IE's co-creators and team admin, Ann.
This month's challenge is simple, but I hope, challenging as well.
Here's the challenge: Inspiration Elevator launched on May 15, 2012 and at that time, we explained our purpose as, "Welcome to Inspiration Elevator! What a thrilling day! Today is the launch of Inspiration Elevator (IE), a challenge blog created by my dear friend Christa Uttley and me. We chose the name Inspiration Elevator because it is our intent to raise our creativity to heights through challenges issued every month. We want to raise our designs from the ordinary to the extraordinary. We hope you'll join us on our journey!

IE is a group of like minded scrappy friends who want to raise the bar in their own creative process through unique challenges that we issue to each other once a month. These won't be run of the mill challenges and we hope you'll join us each month and be inspired by the creative designs we've created."
That vision has remained unchanged over the last (almost) 3 years. The challenge this month is to just create - no holds barred. Take some time, or challenge yourself to do it in 1/2 hour if time is tight, but think about what you'd like to create if there were no agenda, no design team requirement. In other words, create for you, and enjoy the process!
We hope you'll take the time to hop through and visit each of our participant's blogs, beginning with our guests, then our current team, and finishing off with our co-founders. Feel free to leave comments and lavish each one with appreciation for all that they each brought to the Inspiration Elevator challenge over the last 3 years!

I am so happy to be taking part in the Inspiration Elevator's last hop.  I really enjoyed my time on the team, such a wonderful group of girls and I am so happy that I still keep in touch with them!

I love the challenge for the hop.  For a number of reasons I had to cut back on some Design Teams so creating something just for fun... love doing that!  For my layout I used the Urban Market collection by Teresa Collins to scrap these photos of my youngest daughter on her first day of Grade 11 - geesh they grow up fast!  I have used some Unity LOL(Time to Be Happy) and SMAK kits (Moments Like These, You Can Do Anything)

I also dug out some of my neglected SRM Stickers!  I still love to layer the stickers over photos!

I can't believe I created a project without using any die cut from my Silhouette!

I was inspired by this sketch at Let's Capture Our Memories

Unity Blog Hop

Welcome to the Unity Blog Hop.  I have a couple of cards to share today.  This first one was on the Unity Blog on Tuesday but I hadn't shared it here yet so I thought today would be a good day.   I used a LOL (Time to Be Happy) along with The You Can Do Anything SMAK kit.  The paper is the Creative Agenda collection by Echo Park.

This card was created just for today.  I used my new Tea Love and How You Doin' stamp sets.

The sketch and color inspiration is from this month's Be Inspired Challenge

Now be sure to check out the New Releases and this week's SALE!

Now be sure to hop along and visit all of the blogs for your chance at winning a prize!

Upcycled Shabbiness

I am up on the My Mind's Eye Blog with this fun upcycling project using the Record It Pretty Things... sigh... I so love that collection and want it to be in a 12 X 12 pack!

I have more details on the MME Blog so I would love for you to check it out.  I did use some Unity LOL (Becoming Who I Am)  stamps for some added touches - love my Unity.  The butterfly die is from My Favorite Things.

And of course some die cuts and stitching :)

Cut & Paste for Valentine's Day

I had a bit of time to play again.  This time I used the Cut & Paste collection by American Crafts.

First up is a card that is for either a tea or coffee lover.  I used the Coffee Cup and Tab dies from My Favorite Things along with a Silhouette cut file.  Nice and flat and postal friendly ;)

I am playing along with the sketch over at MFT

Next up a simple, masculine card for my hubby for Valentine's Day.

I am playing along with a few challenges.  First up the sketch is from Retro Sketches:

The colors were inspired by Let's Capture Our Memories

Also playing along with the Curtain Call challenge:

And finally the Fusion Challenge:
