Altered Cigar Box

I am up on the My Mind's Eye Blog today with this altered cigar box.  Although the Fancy That paper is a Wedding themed collection, you wouldn't know it here.

After painting the box, I put my Cricut to use, tucked in some vellum leaves and part of a glassine bag and voila done.
Now it will hold some gourmet chocolates and makes a perfect thank you gift.

For more information and detail shots, please see the My Mind's Eye Blog.

My Mind's Eye Blog.

I was up on the MME Blog today.  I used the Hello World collection to create a couple of cards that I thought would also work well for some Graduation cards.

Of course I used my 3D Foam Squares by Scrapbook Adhesives to adhere the die cut jets.

For more information and close ups, hop on over to the MME Blog.

You were meant to shine

I am up on the Unity Blog today with this fun Angie Girl (Bernadette Girl).  I have paired her up with some Bella Rouge by Pink Paislee.  I love paper piecing and my favorite is here pants, I want a pair :)

I cut the sentiment flag apart for more interest and of course have mounted the image using some 3D Foam Squares by Scrapbooking Adhesives.

Hello Gorgeous

I don't play just for fun often anymore, but I sense that is going to change... a renewed sense of energy and well being (if you are a friend on Facebook you will have seen my post regarding my Matcha tea, etc)

Anyhow I couldn't wait to play with this 365 collection by Chickaniddy Crafts, it is just, well... gorgeous.

I just got the Paper Smooches Shoes die and it is just so fun.  Finally, of course a Silhouette Die cut.

Unity Blog Hop

Welcome to the Unity Blog Hop!  I hope that you are leaving comments!

For my card today I have been dying to use this little cutie - Hippo Birthday -  and I desperately need more birthday cards for the students in my class.  The paper is from Pink Paislee and of course everything is adhered using my Scrapbook Adhesives.

For added dimension, I mounted the head on some foam squares and then fussy cut the little flower and added it.  So quick and easy, but perfect for a little girl in my class.

Now be sure to check out the website for the new releases and the sale!
