The Season for Cocoa....

I managed to get my tree up today.... well actually my oldest daughter and grand daughter did - I supervised ;)  Actually my daughter loves to do it and I love watching her, LOL!

Anyways, I had a bit of time to play so I created another card for the Coffee Lovers Bloghop.  I used the Jolly collection by Pink & Main along with a stamp from Darcies (Cookies and Cocoa). Lots of paper piecing on the mug.  I mounted it on foam squares for dimension and added glitter to the whip cream.

To add some layered interest I used the Stitched Alpine Snowflake die from Poppy Stamps and once again the Warm Winter Wishes die from Stamplorations, but this time I cut it apart and only used part of it.

Of course.... vellum snowflakes :)

Be Cozy Stay Warm....

Just in case you need a reminder ;)

I used a Concord & 9th stamp set (Cozy Up) which is on it's way out and is a great price so get it while you can!  The paper is the Hot Cocoa collection by American crafts.  I embossed the white cardstock with the Pinewood embossing folder.

The word 'drink' is from a Stamplorations set (Toasty Mug) . I mounted the mugs on foam squares for some added dimension.  Of course... winter themed... I had to add some vellum snowflakes.

Knit Especially For You gift tags

I have a quick gift idea today.  My friend loves to knit.  For Christmas I got her some local hand made spun yarn.  I then created some handmade tags that she could attach to her items for gift giving.

I used the SugarPea With Love Dies to create the tags and then used the  SugarPea Made With Love set to add the designs.  I then just added some May Arts Burlap twine.

Such a simple idea and I do think my friend is going to love using the tags.

Handmade tags added to her projects will just make the already special gift even more special don't you think?

CAS Mistletoe card

I switched from the coffee/tea/hot chocolate theme.... just for a bit... back soon with more ;)

Today I have a simple Christmas card to share.  I used the Mistletoe Card Frame from Concord & 9th along with the Basic Rectangle frame from Simon Says to create a very simple card, but I love it.

I used the Ornamental stamp set from Concord & 9th to create the little tag.  I tucked some vellum behind the mistletoe for some added interest.

I went with vellum, die cut and open.

Warm Winter Wishes

I am playing along with the Winter Coffee Lovers Hop.... are you?

I had to make it quick as my grand daughter sleeps over Friday nights so she would be waking up soon.... very limited crafty time ;)

Today I decided to use some SugarPea goodies.... love that stamp set.  I combined the Happy Holidays papers with the Mugs & Kisses set

I then added a die cut sentiment from Stamplorations (Warm Winter)Don't you love those little marshmallows sitting on the edge of the mug?  I mounted the mug and marshmallows on foam squares.  To complete the theme I of course added some vellum snowflakes.

Winter Coffee Lovers Bloghop

Hi everyone, what a busy day today, lots going on.... and first up the Coffee Lovers Bloghop.  I do hope that you hop along, leave comments and play along!  LOTS of amazing prizes are up for grabs once again!

For today's card I combined a few of my favorite things.  First off.... the Snow & Cocoa collection is such a perfect winter collection so I had to use it.... I think it had me at pink ;)

That wonderful large coffee cup is from The Stamps of Life hotchocolate2stamp.  I then stamped that fun sentiment from Joy Clair Christmas Coffee.  Finally to complete the theme, the die cut sentiment is from Simon Says.

This card is already on it's way to someone special :)
