Just because cards

It was a beautiful day on Sunday (after the snowing stopped) and the sun got me in a springy mood.  I used the Chasing Dreams collection by Crate Paper along with some Stampin' UP! stamps to create a couple of simple but fun cards.

First up, I couldn't wait to use these cute little dies and coordinating stamps. The Cool Treats Bundle will be something that I use a lot :)  Super simple but I like it.  Doesn't that ice cream look yummy?

I love using pattern paper for things out of the ordinary.... can you tell?

I then used the Beautiful You stamp set to create another simple but fun card.

I stamped and paper pieced the girl and I fussy cut the butterflies from some of the pattern paper.

Sprinkles on top

I created a 'sweet' birthday card.

I used the Hooray collection by My Mind's Eye along with the Sugar Rush Bundle.  I love the little donuts and couldn't wait to use the dies on this fun 'sprinkle' paper.

The 'Sweet' sentiment is the Sweet Cupcake die from Echo Park

Happy birthday kitty

As I'm sure you have guessed... I'm working on my birthday card stash :)

For this one I used the Meow collection by My Mind's Eye.  It is super simple, but postal friendly.  The cat and talking bubble are part of the collection.  I mounted the cat on foam squares.

The 'banner' sentiment is from the Stampin' UP! Sale-A-Bration catalogue and you can earn it free!

Be cool

When I saw the sketch at The Paper Players I knew I wanted lemons :)

Of course the Citrus Bliss collection by Pink Paislee was perfect.  I used the Simon Says Basic Rectangle die to die cut the front window of the card and create a shaker using the foam strips from Scrapbook Adhesives and the acetate is by Judykins.  The mini sequins are from Pretty Pink Posh.

I punched the circle elements out of the pattern paper, then die cut the lemon using an Echo Park.  The stamped sentiment is from the Sugar Rush stamp set by CTMH.  Finally I cut a sentiment using my Silhouette.

Spring (hopefully ;) )

I used my Simple Life by Pebbles collection again.  We have had a few teaser days of what felt like spring... and it got me in the mood :) Of course, I had to use my Chicken Wire die... I'm a sucker for chicken wire.

I paired it up with some Papertrey Ink stamp sets (Garden Variety, Garden Variety 2 and Year of Flowers Titles).  I then tucked in some May Arts Burlap ribbon and finally finished it off with a Silhouette sentiment.  The watering can is mounted on foam squares.

Here is what inspired the colors and of course the spring theme:

Got into my craft room for a bit again, before my grand daughter arrives :)

I played with the Homestead collection by Authentique to create a couple of cards.

First up, I just had to ink up this cute little gal!  It is from the Sale-A- Bration and I got the set for FREE!  You can too, just ask me how :)

You know me, I love to paper piece so that is just what I did here.

I mounted the 'chick' on foam squares.  The talking bubble die is from Simon Says.  I am playing along with the Little Red Wagon challenge:  Down on the Farm

Also, when I saw that chicken wire paper in the collection I had to use it too.  I then used the wood paper and trimmed it to look like an upcycled pallet.

The stamped sentiment is the Coffee Talk by Altenew and I then die cut the coffee sentiment.  Now... those mini brads!!! I haven't used brads in like forever... but they are perfect here don't you think?!

I played along with this inspiration... can you tell?! ;)

I couldn't wait to play with the In Bloom collection by My Mind's Eye, it is just gorgeous!  I paired it with the Imperfection is Beauty stamp set by Unity.

I cut the smile with my Silhouette and stapled it to a die cut from the collection.  I then mounted it with foam squares. The little enamel dots are from MME as well.

I really love the new Simple Life collection by Pebbles it just makes my heart happy... I think I was a farm girl in my former life ;)

I paired it up with my Chicken Wire die by MFT and the On the Farm stamp set by Papertrey Ink.  I created the box using the Box die from Neat and Tangled ( I have a brand new one for sale too... $17 includes shipping to you!)

I then die cut a chicken using the On the Farm die from Papertrey Ink. The home tag was created from the pattern paper.

I played with more Pebbles paper, this gorgeous collection is called Simple Life.  So many fun designs and die cuts in this collection.

I die cut the chicken wire background (MFT) and stitched it on.  I then use the Old Porch Chair Die by Poppy Stamps, which of course works well with the woodgrain paper and I thought it needed a blanket hanging on it :)  I then fussy cut the flowers from some of the pattern paper and adhered to a watering can die from the collection.  This was mounted on foam squares. Finally I created the 'picture' from an element in the pattern paper.

I was inspired by this sketch:

I played with my Tealightful collection by Pebbles again and created a couple of cards.  Can never have enough tea ;)

First up is this one.  The stack of cups is the March SOTM (Tea-rrific) by Close to My Heart.  I of course paper pieced them.

I stitched on one of the die cuts from the Tealightful collection then mounted my tea cups on foam squares.

I am playing along with this sketch:

Next up, once again I used the Tea-rrific March SOTM by CTMH and paired it with a die from Echo Park.

I paper pieced the cup and the flower from the stamp set, then added a little 'tag' which is cut from the pattern paper.  Of course mounted on foam squares.  The die cut in the background is from the Tealightful collection.

Once again playing along with the Fusion challenge:
