Coffee themed gift ensemble

I am up on the Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog today with another project using the fabulous Coffee Break paper.

The first thing I created was the coffee bag.  I used a kraft coffee bag and just created a decorative panel and adhered to the front.

I then created gatefold card.  I haven't created one in a long time and it was time ;)   As always, lots of layering, stitching, stapling and any other embellishment I can sneak in!

For more pics and information, please hop on over to the Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog.

Nautical Celebration

I have a new blog address so if you haven't been getting updates.....

PLEASE Follow Me --->

I am working on building my stash of masculine cards as I realized that I really don't have that many.  Today I have a card I created using the No Worries collection by CTMH along with the No Worries Compliments.

It is a great collection for the rustic, manly feel I wanted :)  I thought that this card could be used for many things although, retirement is what I was going for.  I used a fishnet die for the background and the anchor die is from Echo Park.  I also love the thick twine from CTMH.  The celebrate die is also from CTMH.

Once that was all done I was done layering and adhering all of the pieces.  I added some sequins and 'water drops' for some added interest.

The sketch is from:

I went with the colors from the fusion challenge and took the 'stars and stripes' in a bit different direction (starfish and nautical stripes :) )
And since hubby and I are headed on a Mediterranean Cruise in a few weeks.... this photo made me think of cruising so I am also playing along with JUGS.

Now it is going to be a hot one here today, so I am off to do my run before it is too hot to do so!  Have a great day.

...makes you happy

I played along with the Card Concept this morning.  Yes I know it is supposed to be red... but I'm not a red rose fan but pink.... now that I can do :)  I knew when I saw the challenge that I would use some Crate Paper, just wasn't sure which one.... I decided on Chasing Dreams.

I paired it up with a sentiment stamp from Concord & 9th (which I stamped then cut apart) and a die from PTI.  Of course the flowers have been fussy cut, then stitched on.  The strip die is from MFT.

CLC Summer Blog Hop

Before we start....
I have a new blog address so if you are not getting my updates.... please follow :)  --->

Welcome to the Summer Coffee Lovers Bloghop!  Be sure to participate as there are so many amazing prizes up for grabs!

With summer comes cool drinks.... so I created a 'cool' coffee - let's say frappucino card :)  Of course using my Coffee Cafe stamps and dies.

I decided to go with a pink and green color scheme... because, well that combo just screams summer to me.  Makes me think of refreshing drinks.  The main image and the sentiment are mounted on foam dots for dimension.

Thanks for visiting!  Be sure to hop along and see what all the designers have created for you today and I do hope that you play along.

Let's talk soon

Another coffee card for you today.  I had to play along with the sketch at CLC and of course the Coffee Break paper was perfect :)

Bit of layering, staples and washi... other than that, pretty simple card

Life's Short

Anyone who has followed my blog knows that I am not much of a stamper.  However... I have not really gotten the scrappin' mojo back and have been having fun making cards.  That has led to a love for stamps... and so the story continues ;)

I used more new Stampin' UP! goodies.  I love to combine sentiments for a unique card.  I thought these ones went well with then new bike, which I couldn't wait to play with.
I just stamped the background with some texture stamps.  I then added some washi tape... another thing I am revisiting and loving. The sentiments were stamped and cut out by hand.  I then stamped and die cut the bike, and mounted it on foam dots.
