I stamped the Riley and Company sentiment then just free hand cut a speech bubble around it.

Christmas in July :)
While I still had these Stampin' UP! supplies out on the desk I decided to create a couple more Christmas cards. Once again... these papers, stamps and dies will be available August 1 :)
I am getting excited as in just a few short days, hubby and I leave on our vacation.... Mediterranean cruise! Can't wait!
First up , I created this one. Simple and easy. I used a snow drift die from MFT for the 'hills' and the peace die is from PTI.
Of course, a couple of staples :)
Next up, I was inspired by the Paper Players sketch, although I did sway a bit.
And yes, I did emboss again, and used ribbon... both of which have not been techniques I have done a lot of the past few years.

Peace on Earth
When I saw the sketch at Fab Friday... I knew I was going to use some of my new goodies! The papers, stamps and die will be available from SU! on August 1st!
I love the look of white on black cardstock so I embossed the sentiment.... it has been awhile since I did that too! I created the background on the white cardstock using the Playful Backgrounds.

I die cut the trees from white cardstock, added adhesive then sprinkled with glitter. They are then mounted on foam squares.

No worries....
I knew immediately when I saw the TGIF challenge, which papers I wanted to use... this is making me really excited for our cruise... just 5 more days until we leave!
I used the No Worries collection by CTMH, don't you think it suits the theme perfectly?!
I just layered different parts of the pattern paper, then added some stickers from the collection. I didn't think it was complete without a drink so I used a sentiment and drink from the Beverage Bar set by SU! Finally a die cut sentiment from PTI.

Any cat lovers out there?
Hi everyone, where are my cat lovers? I purchased the wooden Pretty Kitty stamp set from SU! as I thought my grand daughter just may like to play with them... of course, I had to give them a go :)
When I saw the Fusion challenge, I was drawn to the letters.... so I created a couple of different cards based on the inspiration photo.
First up, a clean and simple one. See that ribbon? When did I last use ribbon?! LOL I stamped the kitty that was in the flower pot and then just cut him out as I thought he would be cute holding and envelope. The envelope die is a retired SU! one.
The background label is from the Label Me Pretty bundle set. I can see me using this set a lot.

Then I decided to be more 'me' and have a go at some pattern paper ;) I used the Pick a Pattern paper and played. The background die and pocket die are both from MFT (I think).
Once again, just stamped the kitties on cardstock and cut out.
