National Cocoa Day.... what better day to share my Hot Chocolate goodie bags.... Otherwise known as Snowman Soup... for my grade one kiddos.
Every year as a school wind up in December I do a week of activities centered around The Polar Express. We then have a movie day, wear pjs and have hot chocolate. I send them home with a little hot chocolate goodie bag, complete with bell. This year I used some graphics from Scrappin' Doodles which made creating the packages very quick and easy!
I put the ingredients into a bag and topped with a folded piece of cardstock. To create the labels, I did just that, put the graphic onto labels, printed out and adhered. I embellished with some punched snowflakes (I used recycled photocopy paper) and adhered with a Glue Dot. Easy peesy!
Next, I printed a bunch of the snowman out on just regular photocopy paper.... let's face it, these are for grade ones who really won't notice or care if it was on my good cardstock LOL.
I then cut the out (no I don't have a scan and cut so it was by hand ;) ) and sent them through my Xyron to create stickers.
Then it was just a matter of sticking them on the bags.
