Trio of fun Valentine/Love cards.

So I'm still in Valentine mode.... but today I felt silly so that is what we have.  I used the Emoji Love collection by Simple Stories.

I love all of the fun emojis and for this card, I fussy cut the emojis and sentiment from one of the journal cards in the collection.  I stapled the two emojis together then mounted them on foam squares.

Next up, a very simple card.  Once again, used one of the journal cards in the collection and just trimmed it down.  Of course, had to add some staples.  Easy peesy.

Finally, I think this just may be the card for hubby, LOL!  The heart is fussy cut from the pattern paper. and is mounted on foam squares.  I die cut the 'mwah'.  The sentiment is from the Hero Arts I Love You More Than Pizza stamp set.

Caffeinated Inspiration at CLC

I am up on the Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog today with another inspiration challenge.... did you know I had one there too?  Can you tell I am a challenge junkie, and I love inspiration challenges.... so many ways they can be interpreted.

Anyways, I was inspired to create a little gift package.  I used a the Love to Go stamp set by Unity along with a sentiment from Jaded Blossom.

Another birthday card...

My birthday card stash is filling up again finally.... but here is another one.  Once again I used the Happy Hooray collection by Pebbles.

Another simple layered card using mostly things that come in the collection.  I did add the MFT Happy Birthday die and popped up the cupcake on foam squares.  Finally, a kid would love the sequins so I had to add them too.

Scrappy Sunday

So happy to have done another layout today.  When I saw the sketch at Elle's Studio I knew I had to use it as I have a lot of scraps in the Good Cheer collection and it was the perfect sketch for that as well as the photo I have of my grand daughter and my mom.

In the background I have a die cut snowflake from my Silhouette that I then stitched on.  The title is also from the Silhouette.

I like to make each little panel in a layout like this have something interesting on it.  Also, I do like each panel to be connected somehow so that it is not so 'straight and neat' if that makes sense.

I used the Sensational Snowflake die from Simon Says to die cut some snowflakes from one of the panels.

I also layered punched snowflakes, ephemera and stamped images.   I love my grand daughter got my mom all ready for the snow ;)  That little snowman is from the Snow Way set by Unity

I also used the Bright & Merry SMAK kit to stamp the 'let it snow' as well as the 'memories' of the title.  The bundle up sticker is perfect and it is from SRM Stickers.

Finally the mittens from the Smitten Mittens die by Reverse Confetti was my finishing touch.  They are mounted on foam squares.

Here is the sketch:

Danni's hello card just had me.  The flowers, hearts, die cut sentiment, stitching.... so pretty and a great take on the inspiration photo.  Congratulations Danni!

Don't forget to join in this week's challenge.... those colors are so yummy!

Happy Birthday little girl...

I played once again with the Forever My Always collection by Pebbles but I didn't go with Valentine... this time I created a birthday card for a little girl.

An easy peesy card of just layering bits and pieces of pattern paper.  I then added some of the ephemera, with the lady bug being on foam squares.  I also added a die cut sentiment and some SRM Stickers.

Because you stole my heart

I have another love/valentine card that is a little nontraditional.  I went away from the red and pink to create a masculine card.

I used the True Love paper pack from Reverse Confetti and then just added some cardstock.  I then combined some SRM Stickers with the Kindness Cards and Heart Filled sentiments from Reverse Confetti.

The tag is from the Tag Duo set from Reverse Confetti.  The heart is from Double Stitched heart die from Memory Box.  Finally the arrow is from PTI.  I added a number of SRM Sticker borders to the bottom of the card panel as well as some stitching.
