Hey handsome...

A new Inspired By challenge is up.  Lots of ways to take this one.

I went with the grid design, colors and the masculine feel of the photo.

The die is from MFT.  I then just went about layering bits and pieces from the Hey Mister collection by MME.  Super simple but generally when I create masculine cards, they usually are.

I think you're sweet

You know I love my tea... usually hot. When I want something cold I pretty much always go for water but I have been dabbling in iced tea... and some are pretty yummy!

I used the Good Day Sunshine collection by Echo Park once again.  This time I paired it up with some SugarPea Designs stamps.

The stamped sentiment is from the Simply Fabulous stamp set.  I then stamped and colored the images from the Pucker Up stamp set. I colored the images with copics then mounted on foam squares.

.... looking forward to summer

Ooohhh, I'm getting in the summer mood...although school goes until June 29th... BUT the cherries are coming, the BBQ has been fired up... I love summer!

I have used some Echo Park paper (Good Day Sunshine) - same pack for both cards.

First up, a very simple card.  A masculine one.  I have used the May SOTM from CTMH, love that stamp... will be inking it up a few times.

Next up, I LOVE, I mean I LOVE cherries so I had to have this stamp set from Sunny Studio (Berry Bliss) I love the layered stamps from Sunny Studio!  The sentiment is from the Perfect Pospsicle stamp set.  I just cut it apart and inserted the Echo Park die cut sentiment.

Mindful Monday - drink

Welcome to the second Mindful Monday challenge.  What is Mindful Monday?  well... it is explained here, but in a nutshell, documenting simple things that just make us happy.  I think it is important to take the time to be mindful and just appreciate what we have, and the simple and amazing things that surround us in our daily lives.

This week's prompt is...drink

Can you get a simple pleasure from a drink?  I sure can for me it is tea and I savor every sip. What about you?  nice cold glass of water/lemonade on a summer day?  coffee? evening glass of wine?  mug of beer?

I'm sure that you know by now, I'm a tea lover.  Love my tea anytime of the day.

I have used the Bright Side collection by Fancy Pants to document my love for tea.

I have used some of my stamps too.  In fact one of the first PTI stamps I ever purchased was the Tea for Two.  I have used it so many times.

I really enjoy the moments of having my tea.  Whether browsing the internet, sitting in my chair looking at magazines (yes I like my magazines.... never could get into digital - hmmm another Mindful Monday perhaps) or just sitting outside having an afternoon tea.  I love what savoring a cup a tea is... time to do just that.  Slow down and have a tea.

A mindful moment for sure.  I have also used a sentiment from an Altenew stamp set.

No matter how busy life is, I always take time for my tea.

Maybe She's Born with it....

Happy Sunday!  You will be seeing a lot of tea/coffee things this week as the CLC Blog Hop is happening and there are a TON of prizes available.

Today I have used some papers by Pebbles along with the Moving Forward stamp set by Unity.  I love paper piecing the Angie Girls.  She is mounted on foam squares for dimension.  I also added a little puffy sticker to her bow.

Now I thought she paired nicely with this sentiment from The Perfect Blend stamp set by SugarPea Designs.  I then added the coffee die from Stamplorations.

Sketchy Saturday with Pebbles and Unity

Hi and welcome to another Sketchy Saturday.

For my card, I kept it pretty simple, not a lot of pattern paper... not like me ;)   I used the Patio Party paper from Pebbles.

As always I like to layer but in keeping with simplicity, rather than layer a pattern paper background, I cut one out of white cardstock with my Silhouette.  I then just layered a strip of pattern paper and some washi.

The stamps are from the A Summer Story from Unity... lots of fun sets in this KOTM.  I paper pieced her bag and shirt with some of the pattern paper and mounted her on foam squares.  The word summer is from one of the sentiment stamps, I just cut it out.

Unity Stamp company is one of the sponsors of the CLC blog hop and check out this prize they are offering

so head on over to the CLC hop and do play along as there are a TON more prizes!

Spring and Summer CLC Blog Hop

Hey, happy Friday!  Welcome to the Spring and Summer Coffee Lovers Blog hop!   Be sure to play along at the CLC BLOG... TONS of prizes up for grabs!!!

With being sick all of last week... (not sure I have ever missed a week of work before) and then away this past weekend, I have been playing catch up all week!  So I have a quick and easy card for you that is fitting because with this warm weather we have been having, I don't have a warm matcha in the morning but instead make myself a cool matcha frappucino for an afternoon snack.
I have used stamps and dies from SU! along with the sentiment from MFT and I am sure by now that you know where that 'sweet' die comes from as I have used it so often.... Echo Park.  I mounted the frame and the cup on foam squares for some dimension.

Teacher Gift Box

I am up on the Unity Blog today sharing how I created this fun teacher themed gift box... fill with chocolates and a gift card and voila...

For more information, please hop on over to the Unity blog.

Inspired By... Hey Mister

It is time for another Inspired By challenge and it is a fun one... I wonder if you will be able to tell what I was inspired by....

I used the Hey Mister collection by My Mind's Eye and had fun with the ephemera, chipboard and stickers.

The tag in the middle has been stamped with a sentiment from Kindness Cards stamp and die from Reverse Confetti.  I then mounted the tag on foam squares for some interest.

Here is the inspiration picture....can you tell how I was inspired?

I went with the 'Mr' and pulled out the browns as well as the stacked elements....

Now head on over to see what the design team has created and do play along!
