When Elle's Studio had a big sale... I stocked up. I figured it was time to use this fun paper (Sunny Days - and it is still on sale!) and my uninked sailboat2stamp and die set from The Stamps of Life.
The background die is from MFT. I mounted the ship on foam tape. I then cut some 'starfish' using the Stitched Star Die from TSOL.
I did try to tie the thicker twine using a couple of square knots.... were you in brownies and girl guides? I have made so many of them over the years but it has been so long since I had done one, I'm not sure it's right! LOL
Now I would love to see your take on the sketch:
What a fun card. I really like how you layered the papers and the die. Gosh, all the elements work together fabulously. So bright and fun. I was a Girl Scout for a time and both my girls are still in Girl Scouts. I remember right over left, left over right to make the square knot. :) Terrific card!
ReplyDeleteLove your card Laurel. You're a master at using PP well. And I love how you used the MFT waves too. That sentiment is the best too!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful card!! i lvoe the boat and the all different paper you used , they create a really fun texture!
