Inspired By.... classy Christmas

The new Inspired By challenge is up and since I really am enjoying creating Christmas/holiday projects I continued on. I love the non traditional colors and simplicity in the inspirational photo.

I have used the 'Tis the Season collection along with the Merry Christmas die, which die cut in white I thought pulled out the tree in the photo rather nicely.

I mounted the center panel on foam squares then mounted the die cut on foam squares so there is a lot of dimension.

Check out the inspiration.... now come play!

Super quick and easy way to document December!

I'm so excited to share my quick and easy way to document December!

The Story by Stacy Story Starter Workshop kit was in my cart as soon as I saw it!
I have been meaning to document some of our traditions and stories for awhile and this little kit made it happen.

It went together so quickly and easily. I love that the kit comes with the journaling cards. I just chose my photos, cut the same papers from 'Tis the Season to 4 X 4, added a few embellishments and was done.

If you have a basic black stamp pad and white cardstock...you can purchase the basics for this project for ONLY: $81.75  (that includes album, paper pack, stamp set and dies).... Seriously super easy to do and you will have LOTS of paper left over for other projects!

PLUS... you would also get this month's Stamp set for ONLY $6

Sweet Holiday Wishes

Hi, happy Sunday. I hope you take a moment of silence today to remember the soldiers who have fought and are fighting. If only the world was in Peace.

Hubby and I are headed out on a hike today with a group of people so I snuck in some crafty time first. I have wanted to create a candy cane with that striped paper from 'Tis the Season since I received it. Today was the day ;)  Once again, I have paired it with some blues from the Oh What Fun collection

I don't often use a colored card base and Amy has been inspiring me so I decided to give it a go today. I used the Lagoon as a base. Once again, I have used the Winter Flurries dies, adhered them and stitched randomly.

I cut the candy cane with my Doodlecharms Cricut cartridge then stitched around the edges.  I stamped, layered and cut out some stamped images - all are previously released stamps... this is your friendly reminder that if you see something you like, just buy it. It won't always be available, but you will always use it!

I am playing along with - I used the sketch... and I do have food and drink ;)

Sketchy Saturday with Oh What Fun

Well, another sketch for you today.

Once again, I pulled out some CTMH goodies. I can't seem to get enough of the Oh What Fun collection, must be the pink ;)

The stamps are from some of the Exclusive stamp sets/ SOTM that have been out the past few months. Of course... I had to add the Winter Flurries dies... The little stamped images are mounted on foam squares.

So, I would love to see your take on the sketch :)

Inspired By... pom pom delight

The new Inspired By challenge is up and it worked perfectly for the Oh What Fun collection and scrapping this photo.

I liked the clean looking inspiration photo so I kept my background mostly white but to add detail to it, I pulled out the pom poms in the photo and added some die cut circles using the Stitched Circle dies.

I layered a bunch of scraps and added some die cut snowflakes (Winter Flurries). To add more interest I then did some random stitching which also mimics movement of the snowflakes.

The die cut sentiment is from my Silhouette and the stamped one is from last months Constant Campaign. I mounted it on foam squares.

Here is the inspiration photo... isn't it fun?! Come play!

A Mug of Hugs

I am up on the CLC Blog today with another inspiration for you.

I used the Hello Pumpkin Papers from CTMH. LOVE that check paper.

The stamps are from Unity. I stamped the background text and leaves from the August 2013 KOTM (Cozy Moments) and the sentiment and mug are from Mug of Hugs set.
