Sketchy Saturday with 'Tis the Season

Ok, let's try this again.... yay I'm back! I hope that this doesn't jinx me! Man have I ever had technology testing my patience for the last few months. Anyways I do think I will be here weekly again!

Check out this week's sketch:

I used the 'Tis the Season collection once again. Are you tired of it yet? I will be working on some layouts with it soon hopefully :)

Some simple layering of the papers. I did fussy cut the stocking from the pattern paper. To add interest, I stitched around the edge before mounting on foam squares. I always like to cluster as much as I can so I added a couple of elements from the Complements set as well as from using the Christmas Bingo stamp set.

Of course, as with most of my Christmas/winter cards... there are some snowflakes. I used the Winter Flurries set.

Super festive Christmas card, Laurel! Lovely sketch interpretation! Almost missed that very light snowflake patterned paper! Several of first glances I was just getting impression of white color and then lo and behold, I notice that it is the softest light value of gray with white snowflakes! Duh!?!?!! Even with tri-focal glasses, I'm missing some of your details.
