Inspired By... jars

The new Inspired By challenge is up and I was inspired by the colors (I really stretched the green) and I thought the foliage seemed like puffy snow.... so this is what I created using some new CTMH goodies.

The 'joy' die is from MFT but all else is CTMH.

I used the sketch from: 

Autumn Days

I was going to play with my new Christmas/Winter papers and stamps but then I snapped this photo of my grand daughter and had to scrap it. 

I used the Hawthorn collection from CTMH along with the Layered Leaf dies. 

I created the background of layered leaves then stitched them down. 

I then just added bits and pieces from the collection and voila, done.

Trick or Treat

Most likely my last Halloween project as I'm itching to start making Christmas/Winter ones :)

Once again used all CTMH goodies (I am really loving that stamp set)

I stamped the sentiment and fussy cut it then mounted on foam circles. The image is a sticker that I put on scrap paper then cut out so that I could mount him on foam circles as well.

Same colors and papers two different looks

Hey everyone, I am home today with the flu but took a bit of time to play since that really makes me happy :) I played with some CTMH goodies and along with a few challenges to create these very different cards using the same papers and colors.

The colors for the cards were inspired by the Color Throwdown challenge: 

First up, I went with a Halloween card. The strips of sentiment were cut from a Picture My Life card from last years Halloween papers. I then used a stamp from this year. The hat is mounted on foam circles and the main panel is on foam strips for added dimension.

I then decided to go with a masculine birthday card and once again the main image is mounted on foam circles.

Inspired By... table runner

The new Inspired By challenge is up and I was pretty literal with this one. I went with the theme and the sketch to create this card using old and new CTMH goodies

I'd like to say I was using up scraps, and maybe a couple pieces were but I did use some full sheets ;)
The word BOO is cut with the CTMH die cut alphabet and I mounted it on foam circles. The Halloween paper and stickers are in the current catalog so be sure to nab it.

That cute little ghost is from last years stamps. I mounted him on foam squares as well. 

Every Moment Counts

I played with some goodies from My Mind's Eye to create this fun layout. My grand daughter and I had a great day so of course I had to scrapbook it!

The stamp and square die are from CTMH and I cut the title (Jillibean Soup file) using my Silhouette. 

These papers are so bright and happy that I had to use them for this layout.

Celebrating Five

Look at me, posting 2 days in a row... and a layout to boot. 

I have had this Echo Park paper around for awhile now just waiting.... of course these photos from my grand daughter's 5th birthday were perfect for it. 

I created the title with an older CTMH die and some current letter stamps (Chronicle Type) 

To create the bubbles, I just used good old circle punches.

My grand daughter had convinced my mom to buy her this costume one day... just for her 'dress up box'. It fit her perfectly and she wears it a lot. She decided to have a mermaid birthday party just so she could wear her outfit :)

Broom Rides...

Don't get confused.... it isn't Thursday ;) Seems that's the only day I post lately. Well today, this rainy day I took advantage (well I did do an hour walk) and have played in my craft room. So far, I have created this card and a layout (will share tomorrow) 

I was not going to order any Halloween themed products this year as I was not going to make cards and I was pretty sure I wouldn't scrapbook any Halloween photos.... but the new CTMH papers and stamps called my name so here I am

Inspired By... pumpkins

Hi everyone, the new Inspired By Challenge is up and I love not only the pumpkins but all of the patterns.

Once again, I was inspired to create using some old and new CTMH goodies. I kept it pretty clean and simple because I really wanted to showcase the colors and the pattern on the pumpkins.

Once again, I have used some new CTMH goodies.  And still working my way through my stash of buttons... how many buttons do you still own? How many do you use? LOL

I pulled out the banner feel though I made mine cascading vertically rather than go horizontally.

I even managed to sneak in some scraps of my plaid paper :)

Inspired By... truckload of fall

The new Inspired By challenge is up and I love it!

I was pretty literal with the inspiration as it gave me a good excuse to ink up some more new CTMH goodies. I love a good vintage truck and I love pumpkins so this is the perfect blend :)

Pretty simple card. I popped the truck up on foam circles for some dimension.
