I’ve had this project in mind for awhile now and have just never started. The challenge over at @asyouseeitchallenge spurred me on.
I’ve got a bunch of old playing cards and this little wooden box that I had kept. The cards fit perfectly so I have wanted to do a grateful/what makes me happy collection up cycling each card with a different theme.
I’ve learned not to say I will do one/week etc and I didn’t want to do it in a book/journal because if I don’t fill up the book it bothers me 🤣. So this is perfect I can do as much or as little as I want.
Today’s card - hiking. Hiking makes me happy and I’m grateful to be able to do it in spite of my arthritis.
Papers are from Echo Park Paper and stamps are CTMH
Do you journal about things you’re grateful for?
The book that gave me the idea.

This is a wonderful idea and a great way to use something you already have rather than buy something new. Thank you for sharing the idea. I have a gratitude journal that I "want" to use, but haven't yet. I do like the idea of cards to add as time/inspiration allows. I'm going to check around for that book. It does look like a neat one. Thanks so much for sharing, Laurel!
