Marjorie has another color challenge this week - Buttercup, Kiwi, Citrus Leaf, Topiary. A HUGE challenge for me! Not normally colors I use. I tried many cards - and many not worthy to post! I finally came up with this card. I used Buttercup, Kiwi, Topiary and replaced Citrus Leaf with Sunflower. Stamp sets: Weathered Backgrounds, April Word Puzzle, Wonderful Charms
Isn't it odd how some colors, even if we respond to them with our eyes, don't go DOWN where our art is? Greens, please, I am green all the way ... gem tones, though, the rich, saturated colors. You pulled this off -- the bend on the petals is awesome, and that shimmery touch of ribbon. You have tenacity, girl -- to keep trying until you get something you're satisfied with.
