Here is the sketch from Eat Sleep Stamp (yes I discovered a new one!): For my card I also incorporated this weeks Clean and Simple Challenge on SCS which this week is to use pink, green and blue on a card. The colors on the Tickled Pink paper were perfect and even better I used up some more scraps! The main flower is fussy cut (3 pieces) and layered. It is hard to tell in the picture but I used my Swiss dots cuttlebug on the white background paper. All supplies are from Close to My Heart except punches (Martha Stewart, SU!) and sentiment (PTI)

Cupcake for You
The Sketch this week from Unscripted Sketches: For this card I also incorporated the Pile it On Challenge to include some type of pastry on a card. I just had to use my Cricut Home Decor again as I love this cupcake. The paper is Collage Press. Of course I had to scent it with Cupcake Card Scent - oh so yummy!

My Music
The Sketch this week from The Scrappiest. Head on over and play along, you will be amazed at what the design team did with the sketch. We would love to see what you do, and who knows you may win the wonderful prize from our sponser this month! I am also incorporating the Just Buggin challenge - to use a die cut (I used the Hannah Montana cricut cartridge for these) and alter it (I added some bling to the guitar). Finally, this is for the Scrapping Out Loud Challenge to repeat a motif on your layout. I have repeated both circles (I have some dotted patten paper in there too) and the music notes. Danica had a couple of options for Halloween costumes last year. This was one of them.
Cardstock: CTMH
Cricut: Hannah Montana
gems: Michael's'
Circle punches: SU!, Marvy

2 Lucky
The final Caardvarks Sketch for this week: I love how this card turned out. Used October Afternoon again and I played with one of my Unity Stamps. Everything just fell together perfectly, must have take less than half an hour to make this, love it when that happens!
Cardstock & Ink: CTMH
Stamp: Unity
Letter Sticker: American Crafts
Cricut: Paper Dolls Dress Up
ribbon: stash
I get asked all the time what I do with all of my cards. Well, I do have quite the stash built up but I also give them away as gifts (my SIL loves this), little thank yous etc. I have sold some. But I am just trying to use more of them myself 'just because'. For instance hubby has been doing great around the house (most of the time! LOL) and he is doing awesome at work so I left this on the seat of his truck the other day for no real reason. He loved it!
You and Me
This is my card for the Card Patterns sketch this week. Whenever I feel mojoless, I dig out some October Afternoon, it seems to go together easily then!

The Sketch this week from Clean & Simple: For my card I incorporated a few challenges again. First of all, the Practical Scrappers challenge is to use die cuts - I used my Slice for the watering can and the sentiment. Then the Pile it On Challenge is to incorporate punches, I used a border and a butterfly punch. Finally, it fits for the 365 Challenge to use triplets (this case three large butterflies, 3 small butterflies and 3 gems).

Ho Ho Ho
ETA this card was featured on Card of the Week!
The Caardvarks sketch for today. When I saw the sketch I saw Holly leaves and berries for some reason. I incorporated a few challenges for this card. I incorporated the Pile it On Challenge - to use punches (I used a border and a circle punch), and the Just Buggin challenge to use the Blackout feature on a cricut cartridge (I used the Holly on Christmas Cheer). The words are cut out with my Slice and then glittered. The circles are glittered and mounted with foam squares.

Lucky Me... (lucky me blogger finally worked! LOL)
The sketch today from Caardvarks Sketchfest: I pulled out some Amy Butler scraps again and came up with this card. It gave me a chance to use my new Slice Cartridge (Words & Expressions Holiday), and a Cricut cartridge that I don't use enough (Paper Dolls).
Some blog candy

On top of that, some of you may know that I am on a mission to lose aobut 40 pounds (I have a blog dedicated to it here, and I did a journal about it here). I am happy to say that I am just about half way there (18 pounds!) So in honor of everything I have this blog candy up for grabs. Lots of goodies to be had. The picture is not the best but trust me, lots of good stuff!
How can you enter?
1) Leave me a comment telling me about one of your 'big moments', something that has made you feel good.
2) Spread the word, leave a link on your blog, twitter or whatever - just let me know how you are going to do it.

Please scroll down to see my new postings, this is going to remain at the top until September 23.

The second sketch from the Sketchfest at Caardvarks: I wanted to play with my Earth Love by Cosmo Cricket so this is what I came up with. Everything is from Cosmo Cricket except the Stamp (PTI) and Ink (CTMH)
New 'dos
Here is a sketch from 52 Sketches a few weeks ago: This sketch was perfect not only for the picture but also for the challenge over at Practical Scrappers this week. The challenge is to use felt. Now unfortunately this layout wasn't photographing very well, the colors do match better IRL! I cut strips of felt for the background and I also used my sizzix to cut circles and leaves from felt. To give the leaves a bit more oomph I sewed them down on the paper. I also have some felt ribbon in my stash so I used a bit of it on the edge of the photo.
This is also for the Scrapping Out Loud challenge this week (just squeaking it in), to use handmade flowers on a layout.

Amy Butler Thinking of You
Here is a sketch from Caardvarks, they are having a sketch fest all week! Yay! I pulled out my Amy Butler paper - I never seem to tire of this beautiful paper. However, what should have been a quick and easy card ended up being a pain in the ...... My Slice wasn't working properly to cut out the sentiment (took 5 times - finally changed the blade and cleaned the glass and it worked). Then my silly Xyron made a mess of the adhesive so when I was trying to rub it off (CTMH has an AWESOME adhesive removing eraser), the delicate paper was tearing! URGH. Anyhow, it is done and although somewhat flawed, I do like it!
There's no one like you

Peace on Earth
I am sure loving these simple sketches lately as my time and mojo is limited! This card is made using the Sketch Girl sketch for this week, don't know what is up with blogger lately but it won't let me upload this sketch either!
The largest snowflake is on foam squares. All supplies are from CTMH except the punch (Marvy) and the cuttlebug (Swiss Dots). This again is the retired Breeze color... sigh

Miss Talking to You
It felt good to get back into the scraproom again (thank goodness for scheduled posts!). The start of back to school has been a busy one and I have not been able to do much in the way of my crafts. Not only that, but we had our Fall Fair here on the weekend so that took up some time (Danica entered a few things ... I got first with my House mini album, some scrapbook pages, cards and the Boo Box. Danica got firsts on her things too!) I am hoping that things are sort of settling out now and I will be able to craft more regularly again!
So with such little time, I wanted to incorporate as much as I could into one card, and I am happy with the end product. First of all the sketch is from a new Challenge site I discovered called Crazy 4 Challenges - having blogger trouble so I am not able to load the sketch but you can see it here. I then included the 365 Challenge Make a Mosaic - fit perfectly with the sketch! Next another 365 Card Challenge which is today's challenge - It's What's inside that counts (must include 'miss you' on the inside of the card). I'm not finished though, it is also for the Moxie Fab Challenge - Around the House Challenge - however do any of us even have this type of phone around??? Finally, it is also for the Pile it On Challenge - Black and White with a pop of color! 5 Challenges in one. Not bad for a 15 minute card hey?
The phone and the 'bubble talk' are mounted with foam squares. I cut the talking bubble out of some of the pattern paper.
Now for the inside of the card. I am going to send to my friend who I hardly ever see (we don't live in the same town) nor do we talk much anymore. So sad.
