I will hopefully have something to share later today. I have been working on DT stuff, and hubby and I went out to a Ducks Unlimited dinner last night. The food and everything was fabulous. Even better was the fact that I really had nothing to wear, it was all to big (what few dressy clothes I had - I am not a dresser upper!) - so I had to buy a new outfit! I bought a simple straight lined (surprised?!) blue black sleeveless dress and black shrug. It is in a size smaller! Yippee! Jason went and bought a jacket (sport coat? - dressy) and shirt. An expensive evening for us!
On another note. I never did write about Danica's amazing race the other day. She has been running 5K with Jason every Sunday (rain or shine) as well as the school practices, getting ready for the school cross country race. It was last Wednesday. Well the grade 6, 7 and 8s all ran together. Guess who came out way ahead of the pack?! Danica (grade 6) came first out of all - the second place girl was about 5 feet behind her and was her best friend who is also grade 6 - the rest of the girls were well behind! Apparently, the coaches and other sport coaches are always asking Danica's teacher who she is! You Go Girl, so proud of you!
Congrats to Danica! You go, girl! I want to see pictures of your size smaller self! Please post in your new straight line dress. So proud of you!
