The Challenge over at Butterfly Crafts for this time is to scrapbook your favorite season. There is a great prize up for grabs this month... the winner can become a new Butterfly Crafts DT member! So what are you waiting for come and play!
Can you guess what season is my favorite? I LOVE this layout, because it is for me, about my favorite season because of the wonderful plants that come (Lilacs, white tulips, lots of ferns.... hmmm), and I used lots of my favorite things. Which of course makes this a project for the No Time to Stamp Challenge. All cardstock is CTMH, I used a vintage book for the flowers, Unity stamps and the Slice. So fun. Not a lot of froo froo, I am a clean, straight line kinda gal! Need some Unity or some Slice don't forget you can get these at great prices from Scrap-Mart.
Stamps: Worn Music Background, Tea Time Pattern, The Artist in You
Slice: Spring
Cardstock: White Daisy, Bamboo, Gray Wool, Topiary
I did another project for the Friends with Flair, it just is another excuse to use the fun Unity stamps!
This is the sketch from 2 Sketches 4 You this week:
This is the Color Challenge from Color Create ( I couldn't pass this one up!)
I believe this fits the Stamp Something challenge this week too - blue and white.I inked up my new Unity Ledger background and the sentiment from one of the monthly kits. I also just got this punch yesterday with a 40% coupon and just had to use it!
Now for the toot... Julie and Leigh Ann asked me to be a Guest Designer on Sketch Girl!!! They have been on a break for a bit but are back now. I missed their sketches and was super excited to be asked! Here is the sketch. Make sure you pop on over to Sketch Girl, as they have made some changes and it is so fun! I would love to see what you create. As an added bonus, for being a guest designer I got a free template from Leigh Ann, isn't that great! She has some cute little templates. I hope to play with it this weekend!
For my card I layered 2 different ribbons (the underneath one I salvaged from a gift I received). The chandelier is from the Cricut Cartridge - Home Decor and the sentiment is from PTI. For the sentiment I stamped it on a strip of cardtstock and punched it out with a circle, then mounted it on a foam strip. Another card for the Cupcake Craft Challenge.
Now to see more of the Friends with Flair participants start over at Angela's blog. Remember, find the blinkie and you have a chance to win some free stamps.
