Jillibean yumminess!

The Jillibean Soup blog has a sketch challenge:

I have had these papers for quite awhile just waiting for the right time, I guess this was it! LOL!  All papers are Jillibean Soup (except the white cardstock), so are the yummy alphas.  The stamp is from Unity.
The sketch this week from 365 Card Challenge:

While I still had the papers and stamps out I made this card.  It also fits the Practical Scrappers challenge - chipboard.

The best part for me:  I made both of these in less than 2 hours and then worked on some report cards!  What a productive night.  Now Jason and Jaimee will be arriving home soon (middle of the night), I have to work but I am letting Danica stay home from school so she is there when they wake up.  You know, Danica is such a sweetie.  She went in Jaimee's room this morning and it was very cold since I have had the heat off in it.  She told me she turned the heat on as "Jaimee wouldn't want to come home to a cold room" - ahhh, they do like each other.

  2. Amazing layout, Laurel! I LOVE it! The neutral colors with the pop of white/black is fabulous. And that you used the same in your card...wonderful.

Yay, your family will soon be all together again. How sweet of Danica! She must have missed her sister just a bit. *Ü*

So sweet that Danica thought of her sister to turn the heat on for her.
I hope my boys learn to do stuff like that. Right now they fight too much!
