Happy Birthday Miss Amy!

My second post for today so be sure to scroll.

I didn't know until today that it was Amy's birthday so I went down and whipped up a card for her.  I used this weeks sketch from Sasya's Sketches:
The Etsy Inspired Shop this week is Cathy Walter's and I chose this pendant:


When I saw these owl themed papers and this set of clip art from My Grafico I immediately thought of Amy so I purchased it knowing one day I would make something for her... well today was the day!  The clouds are cut from felt using my PTI dies. This is also for the Creative Card Crew challenge - cute and girly.

    What a darling card!! I love how you created the rolling hills but were not "confined" to be exact. . . it makes them so much more interesting! I love how brave you are with your art - that's what makes it uniquely you and I heart your art!

    Terrific card, Laurel! Dare I say that owl is cute?? LOL The tree the hills and the ribbon are balanced wonderfully by those felt clouds. I so admire your creativity and I'm sure Amy will love it (heck, MY Amy would love it...LOL)
