There is a new challenge over at 2 Peas and it is a sketch challenge:
This was the perfect sketch for these Easter photos. I usually don't like scrapping Easter photos and not really sure why, I think I just don't usually like 'Easter' paper. This time I used my October Afternoon Fly A Kite Kit and I LOVE how it turned out, probably my favorite Easter layout ever. It is hard to tell in the picture but I did a tone on tone title and embossed it and it does look better IRL. The twine on this is from The Twinery. Yay, Jaimee's 2009 album is complete!
love this page (and the one below)--hope you are feeling better:)
ReplyDeleteAnother fab layout, Laurel. I enlarged the picture and could see the embossing just fine. It looks great. At first I wasn't sure why every one looked to have scrubs on. LOL Then when I made it bigger, I could see they are ponchos for the rain. LOL Looks like someone made a good haul on the egg hunt. *Ü*
ReplyDeleteHope you got the rest you need and are feeling better.
Love this Laurel!!!!

Oh really cute! I agree that I don't like the papers for Easter but using something like this is perfect! I was thinking that WP would be good paper, too!
ReplyDeleteGreat layout, Laurel!
ReplyDeleteI feel the same way about Easter photos, too. And also with Easter cards for some reason - must be the papers :)
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job with the sketch - good luck!!
This is super cute!
ReplyDeleteYou LO's are always so pretty and full of color and layers...you've really got a talent for that.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great layout. I adore those papers and the fun title.
