Cosmo Cricket has a sketch challenge going on right now and the winner has a chance on getting published in the August issue of Scrapbook Trends magazine! How could I not play, I love Cosmo Cricket and Scrapbook Trends!
I paired the sketch with the fabulous Circa 1934 papers (my 4th layout with these BTW and I still have paper left!). This is a photo of my dad's family, hard to believe all of them together at one time. My grandpa died before I was born and this is the only photo I have ever seen of him. I tried to give the effect of 'tied with heartstrings' along the top. Pretty much everything is from the Cosmo Cricket Circa 1934 pack and some letter stickers, I did include a Maya Road envelope, some Elle's Studio vintage numbers and some CTMH newsprint letter rub ons. I was also inspired by Stevies's Titanic challenge over at Scrap Shotz - to include a large photo (I did) and a synonym of the word large as part of the title. I am having a great weekend because I am sure loving how my stuff is turning out! This all fell together in a couple of hours!
I love how you did the names! Such a lovely layout!
