Yacht Club

A very talented Scrapbooker, Nadia, has started a sketch challenge site called Once Upon A Sketch and this is the first sketch:




My second kit from Your Scrapbook Stash arrived today and I was given some Webster's Pages Yacht Club to use.   So out of my box. We are also challenge this month to use mainly paper, ie not a lot of fru, fru, chipboard etc.   Well I  decided to go right to work. I did some fussy cutting and stitching (that I'm comfortable with, hehehe).  The clouds are cut with the Spellbinders Die.  This is a picture of Danica about 10 years ago, on one of her first fishing trips, do you think she liked it? LOL

    Oh goodness, Laurel...for something you say is out of your box, you sure rocked this layout! I adore the photo (I think it's safe to say, she had a blast) and the stitching...the waves are awesome. It all looks just so fabulous. Great job!
