Back to School Big Buddy

Time for another challenge from the Ribbon Carousel. Grab your school colors, blue and red, or any school image, because Angela wants us to celebrate the kids and teacher’s going “Back to School” for this week’s Ribbon Carousel Challenge.  And as an added incentive, RibbonCarousel.com will be giving one randomly selected participant a $10 gift certificate!

I once again dug into my Imaginisce Geek is Chic papers to play along.  I used my Doodlecharms Cricut cartridge to cut the apple for the card base (thus this is good for the Die Cuttin Divas Challenge).   I have also used the Karber Lovely Teacher image along with some Unity stamps (file and sentiment) - thus this is good for the Unity challenge - back to school.  Finally a button and some Divine Twine along with some stitching to finish it off.  This is also for the Little Red Wagon challenge - back to school; Cricut 360 - Back to School and the Fab 'N' Funky challenge - stitching.  Finally, it is for the Cricut Circle Challenge (ABC - 1,2,3) - I used one button, 2 apples and 3 stamped items (image, folder and sentiment).  I used the Cricut Doodlecharms to cut out the apple card shape.  This is also for the Karber Challenge - use your favorite embellishment...uhm mine is twine in case you didn't know ;)

I made this card for a fellow teacher who happens to be my big buddy teacher.
