Starting Grade 8

I am so excited for my post today!  I was asked to be a Guest DT for Scrap it With a Song!  The challenge this week was the song "Yellow" by Coldplay.

I used the sketch from Twisted Sketches - the twist being Start

I couldn't wait to use my Fancy Pants Off to School and scrap this photo I took of Danica on her first day of grade 8... grade 8 sigh.  Jaimee is in grade 11 now, where oh where does time go?  The paper, chipboard and stickers are all Fancy Pants, the cork letters are CTMH,  the other letters are from Bella Blvd Sophisticates, he twine is from Divine Twine and finally the flash card is from Pretty Little Studio.  This is also for the Sketches in  Thyme Open Challenge.

    Sooooooo cute, Laurel! Love, love how you did your title. The papers are fabulous. Love the little 8 card and that amazing banner. This is beautiful. And I can so relate.....my kiddos are the same age as yours, 8th and 11th. Where, oh where, does the time go?

    Laurel, that is such a great sketch. Love all the embellishments. It is hard to believe time passes so fast! My "little" one is 20!
