Base Playing Buds

Well today I am doing my first half marathon.  I didn't get to train for it as much as I had hoped but that is ok. I am sure that I will do it, I just won't do it fast and I'm ok with that.  My knees have been bothering me lately so I will do the best that I can.  It is also Thanksgiving here in Canada and after the run, Jason and I have a couple hour drive to where his family is all getting together, should be fun (as long as I can unfold my legs out of the truck after the drive)

Anyhow onto today's post.  I used my Midterm papers from Bella Blvd to scrap this photo of Danica and her friend (both base guitar players).  Their school came to our school to do a performance so of course I had to get some pictures (normally at concerts Danica is way in the back and we don't see her).  She wasn't too impressed to be 'embarrassed' like that, hehehe.

  1. Happy Thanksgiving, Laurel. And, good luck on the half marathon. I'm sure you'll do well. I really like your attitude about it and heck, I'm totally impressed that you will willingly run/jog for thirteen miles! Especially with knees that you say are bugging you. Wow!

Love the layout. Your daughter is so dang cute, as is her friend. I'll bet they sounded great! Love the colors and the neat details you added. They add a lot of fun to the layout.
