The challenge at the Cricut Circle blog this month is Halloween Home Decor. I have entered a few projects and this is another one. I cut out some bats using my Happy Hauntings and Chic & Scary cartridges out of plain cardstock. To adhere them to my fireplace I have used the Removable Glue Dots! There are so many uses for these dots, especially around the holidays! I love them!
Just a close up of some of the decorations I have made. All of the candle sticks (including the tall one in the photo below) were purchased at garage sales. They were either white ceramic or 'gold/brass' colored. I spray painted them black. How easy is that.
Another view of the tall candlestick. The boot is another thrift store find... still searching for the 'perfect boot'.
I used the negative pieces of cardstock from the bats as a stencil and created this quick and easy table runner out of a scrap piece of burlap. Yes I do need more table decor (LOL). I did it for the Scrapbooker's Paradise Ponderings challenge:
It is also another entry into the Cricut Circle Monthly challenge - home decor.

ReplyDeleteLove your Halloween decor, Laurel! The bats look great on your fireplace and runner. I keep hearing about spray painting one's thrifty finds but have never done it. I should, looks great! All your pieces work wonderfully well together!
