Echo Park Fall

ETA This card was featured on the Echo Park blog!

I hope everyone had a great Halloween.  I must say, as fun as it is I am always happy to move on, ;)

I decided to play along with the Mojo Monday sketch:

I was inspired by this fabulous photo at The Shabby Tea Room:

I am also playing along with the Echo Park Dots & Stripes challenge.  I used my Cricut to cut the card base (Plantin Schoolbook) and the Wheelbarrow (Walk in my Garden).  The stamps are PTI Friendship Jar Fillers.  I have used Echo Park For the Record Newsprint for the background but the other papers are from Dots & Stripes collections.  The little bits and bobs that help fill the wheelbarrow up are from a Fall Wreath that I just picked up at a thrift shop.  I bought it just for my card/decor making.  This is also for the Cricut Circle challenge - Signs of Fall and the Moxie Fab challenge - Textured to Perfection.

So excited too... I saw that my project here (the paper bag gift), was one of the weekly winners at the Cricut Circle!!! Yay!

  1. Love the paper piecing and the bits and bobs are perfect! I agree - Halloween is fun, but I am so happy to move on as well! There are years that I really do think to myself, let's just skip this Halloween thing and move straight into Christmas! I think the difference is that Christmas is an entire season - I deck the halls early and enjoy for an extending period of time, so worth the work! Cheers,
    Shanna :)
P.s. bring on the Christmas tunes!
