Some Tea, Showers and Some News!!!

I saw that the TSG challenge this week was a sketch challenge so I had to play, I love sketches!

For my card I used the October Afternoon Farmhouse collection.  The stamps are from TSG.  I used the Domestic Goddess set and paired her up with Perk Up.  The twine is The Twinery twine.

I also decided to play along with the Mojo Monday sketch:

I used some Nikki Sivils papers along with the Under the Weather stamp set from TSG.  The twine is from The Twinery of course.

Now for the news... I have been asked to be on the There She Goes Design Team!!! I love TSG stamps and I jumped at the chance!  Can't wait to start!  The announcement can be seen here... hop on over to see the other donkeys  I mean Designers, what a great team we have!

Here comes trouble

I was playing around with my new Nikki Sivils Noah collection and I just had to make a card for my nephew.  I just love this cute little snail.  The twine is from Divine Twine.

Farm Fresh Gift Box

I am here with my last post as a Guest Designer for The Kraft Journal.  I have enjoyed my month and can 't believe it has come to an end so quickly.  I will not be far though, I love playing along with the challenges here!

For today's challenge, which is Farm Fresh,  I have used a Square Kraft Pillow Box, covered it with some pattern paper and a piece of an old crochet that I picked up at a garage sale.  I then made a tag and used a Round Hole Reinforcement to finish off the punched hole.  Finally I tied the tag on using some Hemp Cording.  I have used some October Afternoon Farmhouse papers and a Unity stamp as well.  Inside the box is some handmade bars of soap, which I thought would make a nice little thank you.

Be sure to head on over to The Kraft Journal to see what the rest of the designers have created.

ETA This project was a featured project over at 2Peas!

Imaginary Friend

I have another post for The Alley Way and this is another one of the new March Sets called Monster Mash, isn't that monster the sweetest!  Now don't forget TAWS is releasing 10 new sets this month so be sure to pop on by the blog for some sneak peeks of the new sets which will be available on March 1st.  I have also used some Kaleidoscope paper from Momenta, some Momenta letter stickers and some twine from The Twinery.

Lucky to Have You

I have created another St. Patrick's Day project using my Glue Dots® products.  I cut the shamrock with my Paper Dolls Dress Up Cricut cartridge and then adhere some green paper behind it using my Glue Dots® Dispenser - love this stuff, once stuck, it stays!  I then trimmed it, wrapped it with twine and adhered it to my card base with some Glue Lines®.  Finally the buttons have been adhered with some Glue Dots®as well.  The sentiment is from the February Unity KOTM.

I wrote this blog post while participating on the Glue Dots® Design Team.

Some Sweet Momenta Cards

I had these posted on the Momenta blog on Friday.  I am also up at the Scrap Shotz Forum for my challenge and it is: Incorporate Food on a card.

I used my Let's Party Pyramid Pack and Sticker Kit to make some more cards for my stash.  I am always in need of birthday cards as I use them for the Grade One students in my class.  I think the colors and patterns in this paper pad are so perfect for kids and yet can be used for adults too!  Using stickers on these cards made them go together so quickly and that is a good thing!

The Donkey Mini Album

I couldn't wait to make a mini album of my Pajama Crop!  I dug out one of the mini chipboard albums I received in a CARDS goodie box, along with some of My Little Shoebox papers, which were also part of a publication goodie box,  and went to work.  I have also used the new Ba Donkey Donk stamp set from There She Goes (I had to, the whole theme of the crop!) along with Crafty Taglines, which was a perfect stamp set for my photos!

The cover:

Now the inside pages, the first page is a tag I made with our 'Motto'.

The group of us

Yes I did get a bit crafty...

This sticker is from EAD Designs:

And the fabulous Kim O'Connell who started the whole Donkey thing...

The journaling on this page is about Jessica Knutsen's husband Matt who was just wonderful for the whole weekend.  The journaling says "What's not to love about a guy who knows what a foam square is"!  He really did... he also knew who some of the SCS people were!
