My second post for today, please scroll down for my Inspiration Elevator post or click here.
Welcome to the Ribbon Carousel and Unity Blog Hop.
For my first project I used my Macho Nacho Soup papers from Jillibean Soup. I thought the colors of this collection were perfect for these track photos. This is for my daughter's album and she likes it when there are lots of photos on the page, so I obliged! I used the Game Day Chili stamp set which is a co-branded Jillibean Soup stamp set by Unity. I have also used some Divine Twine, and some of the printed Antique Ruler twill from May Arts, I like to use this ribbon just as little tab accents on my layouts and I thought the numbered one was perfect with the theme of this page.
A close up of the stamps and twine:

And another close up of the twill and stamps.
I used this month's sketch from Jillibean Soup:
I have another layout for you today too. For this one I used my Lily Bee Head Over Heels collection along with a few Unity stamps (Cre-ate, Me Documented, Year-o-graphy banners). I used my Hannah Montana Cricut cartridge to cut out the title and the negative music note. Finally a bit of fussy cutting to cut out the roses, the little banner on one of the Lily Bee journaling cards and tied it all off with a bit of May Arts Jute twine, available from the Ribbon Carousel.
Some close ups. This one shows the negative die cut use of the music note and one of the stamps used.
Love this filmstrip stamp.
I have used this life documented and date stamp a lot! Also I cut out part of the flag on the journaling spot so that I could overlay it onto the photo.
I am playing along with the sketch challenge at Lily Bee.
Oh and we have a sale at the Ribbon Carousel:
Now be sure to hop along everyone's blog to see all the wonderful projects ready to inspire you!
