Week 2

I am on a roll, I got my first 2 weeks of Project Life done and on time.  Of course it has only been 2 weeks... ;)

I used my Jillibean Grandma's Lima Bean Soup along with a bit of the new Irish Farmhouse Soup.  I also managed to sneak in a bit of layering, a Cricut cut and even some stamps...  It was a good week for me in that I got a couple of DT packages and I scooped a vintage telephone and apple crate at an antique store. If you see the apple crate, you will understand why I had to buy it.  Oh and yes, my daughter is flipping me the finger (I didn't catch the finger when it was up) - I was trying to sneak photos of her with my zoom lens - and she thought she would be funny!  Oh well, at least I ended up with the smile I wanted, hehehe.

Just a note: when I showed Danica my first week pages - she says that she likes them better.  "But they don't have a lot of decoration and such on them," I replied.  "So, I like when there is lots of pictures."  Hmmm.... maybe I have been doing it wrong all these years ;)  Although for me, I love the process of creating the pages - even if I am the only one who likes them LOL!

  5. Looking good Laurel!
People who don't scrapbook tend to go for more photos....that's what draws them in...they don't care about the effort you made to create a nice embellishment cluster...lol But share them with us....we appreciate the effort!

  6. Super cute! I don't embellish a whole lot either. I like pictures and journalling mostly.

  7. I like that you were able to sneak in a little more of your style, too. Maybe intersperse the embellies throughout the project, but don't force it every week?

Love the phone and the apple crate. Very cool finds.

    Have a great week, Laurel!
