I used my Jillibean Grandma's Lima Bean Soup along with a bit of the new Irish Farmhouse Soup. I also managed to sneak in a bit of layering, a Cricut cut and even some stamps... It was a good week for me in that I got a couple of DT packages and I scooped a vintage telephone and apple crate at an antique store. If you see the apple crate, you will understand why I had to buy it. Oh and yes, my daughter is flipping me the finger (I didn't catch the finger when it was up) - I was trying to sneak photos of her with my zoom lens - and she thought she would be funny! Oh well, at least I ended up with the smile I wanted, hehehe.
Just a note: when I showed Danica my first week pages - she says that she likes them better. "But they don't have a lot of decoration and such on them," I replied. "So, I like when there is lots of pictures." Hmmm.... maybe I have been doing it wrong all these years ;) Although for me, I love the process of creating the pages - even if I am the only one who likes them LOL!
Loving that phone photo and the Laurel one!!!
ReplyDeleteFantastic! I am behind in mine already :-(
ReplyDeleteGood for you for keeping up so far with this project! The layout is awesome, but I am with you, the process of creating is what makes this so much fun!!!
ReplyDeletethat create was meant for you and i love the old phone!!! lol your daughter is funny :)
ReplyDeleteLooking good Laurel!
ReplyDeletePeople who don't scrapbook tend to go for more photos....that's what draws them in...they don't care about the effort you made to create a nice embellishment cluster...lol But share them with us....we appreciate the effort!
Super cute! I don't embellish a whole lot either. I like pictures and journalling mostly.
ReplyDeleteI like that you were able to sneak in a little more of your style, too. Maybe intersperse the embellies throughout the project, but don't force it every week?
ReplyDeleteLove the phone and the apple crate. Very cool finds.
Have a great week, Laurel!
Pure awesomeness!
