A New Beginning

I submitted a few cards to the PC Call (haven't been submitting much lately) and didn't get any picked up but at least I have something to share.  I really liked one of the sketches (I am a sketch girl) and made a few cards with it.  For this one I used the Find Your Wings and Fly by My Mind's Eye.  The clouds are cut with a PTI die and backed with vellum.  I have also stitched some vellum hearts then adhered them to the balloon.

    Their loss, my friend! This is gorgeous! I LOVE the papers and colors, and this design is sooo eye catching! Love, love the vellum-backed clouds. That is just genius!

    Great card. The colors are cheerful and really like the positive sentiment. That hot air balloon is neat floating with the clouds, too.
