For this blog hop, the Pebbles team was challenged to create a project of their choice using the Pebbles Basics collection. We really wanted to show you just how versatile this line is...
Today I am sharing a Teacher Gift Basket that I created using some of the Red, Green and Black Basics. As a teacher myself, I know that these things would come in handy. Everything from the Glue Dots to the Washi wrapped pencils (there would be no doubt which ones belong to the teacher, hehehe) are good practical things that a teacher could use.
I have used the Basics Collection along with the Say it With Stickers - Teacher sticker set from SRM Stickers. I spray painted a terra cotta pot (and the wooden basket) with chalkboard paint. I used the Apple Stamping stamp set from Unity to stamp on the pot. The wooden basket was just covered with some of the pattern paper.
I wrapped the top of some pencils with the Basics Black Washi Tape, now the teacher pencils are easily identifiable and hopefully won't walk away ;)
I also used the Basics Black Washi Tape to embellish the front of some clothespins (the backs have magnets glued onto them). The apple die is from Papertrey Ink.
I created a notebook holder for all those little notes teachers have to quickly jot down, the apple border stamp is from Papertrey Ink. I have used the same apple die from Papertrey Ink to cut out a cork apple and embellished it with a 'button' cut with the PTI button die and finally a Pebbles Black Candy Dot. I also used some of the Green Basics scraps to embellish some clips.
A little tag tied onto the basket created with some of the SRM Stickers and could later be used as a bookmark.
I love this sentiment sticker:
Finally, it is all tied off with some May Arts jute twine.
