A couple of cards using Notes & Things

It it Thanksgiving Weekend here in Canada and I am sure enjoying the fact that it is a rainy day and I am forced to stay inside ;)  I went and played in my craft room.  Working around the baby's schedule I don't have a lot of time so I created cards today.  Hopefully will get to a layout again soon.

I used the Notes  & Things from Crate Paper to create a couple of cards.  The colors and patterns in this collection are so pretty.

For this card I was inspired by the sketch at Sunday Stamps:

I then decided to create a 3 1/2 X 5 1/2 card as I have a lot of strips of paper left over from making regular A2 sized cards from a 12 X 12 piece of cardstock.

  4. Happy Thanksgiving, my friend! Love your cards! The pieced background on your sketch design is soooo cool! And I love your creative use of the leftover paper on your second card. The smaller size is a great idea!
