Top Ten Blog Hop




Welcome to Top Ten Blog Hop for 2014.  I was going to cheat and post my Top Ten Cards and my Top Ten Layouts :)  but to spare you I chose 5 of each.  2014 was a difficult year for me and my mojo for crafting was really not there most of the time.  I am happy to say though, that it looks like I should be more back to 'normal' in 2015!  

As you look through my favorite projects there are some commonalities you will notice.  I love to layer bits and pieces and not be symmetrical.  I like things to look like they just randomly fell onto the page.  




I just had to take away from the symmetrical feel of this layout by adding some corner pieces 


Stitching.  Stitching is another thing I include on pretty much every project.  It just doesn't seem finished to me if there isn't a bit of stitching somewhere - and the messier, the better :)

Die Cuts:  Love my Silhouette, Cricut and various Dies and most always include some sort of die cut somewhere.


Layers, stitching, stamping and asymmetrical - aaahhhh :)

    All of these are great projects, Laurel. I've long admired your ability to make things look random on purpose. You have a flair for layering and placing things just so that are very appealing to the eye. It's not as easy as you make it appear, as my trash can can attest. Thank you so much for sharing all that you share. While it's been a tough year for you, it sure appears as though you have come through stronger than ever. Here's hoping 2015 is filled with happy blessings.
