I am so happy to be participating in the Blog Hop and had a lot of fun playing with the Donna Salazar products.
I love to create out of the box type of gifts.
In this case I know some women who are going through chemotherapy right now so I created these with them in mind.
Little versatile pieces of artwork that could hang on clothespins like I have shown, adhere to a fridge (don't we all have a fridge full of artwork ;) ) or just in a bathroom to remind them everyday that they are strong and beautiful.
For both pennants I used one of my favorite MME collections (Cambridge Court) along with some Unity Stamps. I have also used the fun Donna Salazar Pennant Set,and Lace Ribbons. My go to adhesive when using products such as this is the Premium Double-Sided Tape. I makes putting everything together so easy (note: you will see stitching but that is only for decoration, not needed :) )
First up is this pennant. The title is cut with my Silhouette, which I love for titles.
Can you guess what her purse is created with?
I used the Donna Salazar Canvas Ribbons.
Just stamped and cut it out.
Love the look of the fabric bag.
Next up a similar pennant. I just love these colors mixed with the denim.
Now to create the die cut flower,
I mixed pattern paper with one of the denim panels from the Pennant Set.
Just one reason I still love my dies... so versatile!
I used some of the DODZ to adhere the flower pieces and buttons.
I had pieces of the denim left over so I just cut strips
and adhered under the sentiments.
Love the added interest the denim adds to this project.
